 Manners! Good morning all. 02/Sep/14 6:02 AM |  |
Amelia, is it because we are a day ahead of the States? Of course, I am presuming that's where it's being played. 02/Sep/14 6:10 AM |  |
I think that the golf that Amelia was referring to was the final round, not the first, of the Deutsche Bank Championship, being played at Norton Mass. 02/Sep/14 6:34 AM |  |
Hal,that is the one I'm talking about ,we usually see the final round on Monday morning our time. 02/Sep/14 7:09 AM |  |
1.39, that's quick for me, I don't often break the 2 minute barrier! Waiting for the electrician to arrive to do a couple of jobs for me, he only lives 2 minutes away so he can't be stuck in traffic! 02/Sep/14 7:24 AM |  |
Usually that would be true, Amelia. But this is one of those tourneys that end on a Monday (here, Tuesday your time) because it's a holiday, Labor Day. 02/Sep/14 7:26 AM |  |
Everybody. I hope all topsiders are enjoying their holiday. I didn't check this site the last few days, so have lots of comments and puzzles to catch up on. 02/Sep/14 7:39 AM |  |
Chris - I'm sorry to hear about your father, but hope today finds him better than yesterday. My thoughts and healing prayers are with you and your family. 02/Sep/14 7:40 AM |  |
Thank you Hal, never thought about the Labor Day holiday. 02/Sep/14 7:52 AM |  |
1:51. Good morning everyone. Just a quick report from the Tasmanian front before heading back in to the hospital. My Dad's been transferred to ICU from the coronary unit and had a slightly better day yesterday, but his kidneys have failed and he's on continual dialysis. My two brothers arrive from More... 02/Sep/14 8:06 AM |  |
Wishing you the best, Chris. 02/Sep/14 9:34 AM |  |
That's what siblings are for, to spell each other out for the watch! My brothers and I take turn watching our mom so that she won't go so quickly after my dad. Even with Alzheimers (and we know mentally she's gone) we still want her around. The comfort of feeling her hold our hands and getting her attention still is good. 02/Sep/14 11:35 AM |  |
For my darling grammar patrol! On his 70th birthday, a man was given a gift certificate from his wife. The certificate was for consultation with an Indian medicine man living on a nearby reservation who was rumored to have a simple cure for erectile dysfunction. The husband went to the More... 02/Sep/14 12:08 PM |  |

White Rabbits, White Rabbits, White Rabbits, Happy September! 02/Sep/14 3:47 PM |  |
Shosho, I do hope that is not how you teach your little darlings at school! I bit the bullet and played half a game of Lawn bowls today. The first since the beginning of April. I was not very successful as the messages I tell my hand seem to be getting trapped with the trapped More... 02/Sep/14 5:16 PM |  |
Chris, thinking of you and your family. It is hard to watch someone you love, and who is an essential part of your life, when they are so ill. 02/Sep/14 5:19 PM |  |
All the best Chris. Here's hoping for an improvement soon. 02/Sep/14 8:02 PM |  |
