We are a strange lot! we hate it when it's hot and hate it when it's cold! but in reality we cannot do anything about it unless we move to counries where the weather is always nice! but then we have to put up with things like cyclones etc. so we'd never be really happy?? I would'nt mind if it came More...
 |  |
oh I know the feeling! Nights are not easy with little ones who can't sleep for the heat - at least you have ceiling fans! We have unbearably hot days for only a few days at a time in July and August, so can't really complain; We're putting in a swimming pool at the moment so next summer there'll be some relief from the heat!
 |  |
LOL,LOL,LOL,LOL,LOL,LOL, now my ribs really are in pain! thanks for that Teddy. Damn just looked at my last post so many booboo's should be countries, as, and it should be also- not going to like our next bill!!!

aw you are soooooooo naughty, but very funny young ted. smaaaaaaaaaaacccccccckkkkkkkkk!!
 |  |
tomorrow it's suppose to be 27, then thursday about the same, friday 35, saturday 28, sunday26, next monday 37. this is the weather where it's so easy to catch some sort of bug, then if it's one of the kids you end up having a horrible holiday because they are always upset?? it really is so gross?
 |  |
laughed more at the 'young ted' bit than the jokes! For the totally ignorant, who is Lorena?

my daughter's had bronchiolitis and twice pneumonia and I was pulling my hair out with the doctors who couldn't seem to come up with anything prevention wise; after digging my heels in for ages I finally took her to see a homeopathic doctor, not believing in the least that little balls of sugar would do any good...
 |  |
and bingo, I have to admit it works! The proof of the pudding is that after being well, no cold, no coughs etc for 18 months, the homeo doc asked me to wean her off everything she was taking - 3 weeks later she had her 3rd bout of pneumonia! And it was the middle of the summer! Back to treatment and she's been fine again.
 |  |
give it a try, I think it's great for kids especially, but I dope myself with echinacea over the winter months and haven't had a cold for the last three years - that's hard to beat!
 |  |
have to agree with that one fiona, young ted!!! indeed. might have to go as have a long day tomorrow, and I have a killer of a back ache? and no I DID NOT jump off the closet again, and Ted not a word from you or from anyone else either!! I went to bed feeling fine last night little darling jumped into our bed about 6am and have been sore since then!!
 |  |
I'm pleased to see that your spelling has improved!
 |  |
I am pretty lucky so far this summer with the kids! it's been me first the spider bite then a 24hr bug and now a sore back! I personally cannot take echinacea nor my little darling as we are both asthmatics, hers is triggered by croup and mine all year. So we have to be careful, but at least I know More...
 |  |
have you been lurking in the shadows just waiting for me to put in an appearance?
 |  |
cathy, I also am asthmatic, take a puffer daily and occasionally ventoline if needed and I've never had problems with echinacea - where did you hear that??
 |  |
As for my back I am going to make a mix of essential oils of 3drops lavender(relaxation) 2drops clove or cinnimon(heat) and 2drops of eucalytpus then mix with a base oil eg: about 5drops grapeseed or virgin olive oil or in a pinch baby oil, then get someone too massage it in. I also used this mix with rose geranium oil when I was in labour it worked a treat!!back pain free! used lots though
 |  |
have a large glass of whisky too! Anyway must go, my parents arrive on Thursday and I'm busy doing all the daft things you do when your mother is due for a visit, you know, hoovering behind the sofa and moving large pieces of furniture, just in case there's a bit of dust (which there inevitably is! The things we do...

Echinacea has had bad press over here and it is not recommened for asthmatics as I think 2or 3 people died after using it and it was found to have caused them to have attacks, I also tried it myself and ended up sicker so I am not willing to take that chance again!! also have a cousin who has been More...
 |  |
fiona, it was actually Loretta Bobbitt. Don't know if it was reported in the French press, but she was an American who cut off her husband's (don't know what word will get past the censor, so fill in your own blank!) and threw it out of the car window. Read Ted again, and it now becomes very, very funny :)))
 |  |
Yes, very naughty Teddy - I thinnk you're missing the smacks and just angling for another one! Happy to oblige - feel better now? And it was very funny :))
 |  |
think, think, think, I know!
 |  |
Took me too long... tired today!

 |  |
I will watch your weather reports as we will get them the next day. certainly seems to be hot one day and cool the next. air conditioners are marvellous things or cool off in pool if it gets too hot. but has to be real hot for me to get in pool as I displace a fair bit of water when I get in and we have to watch water usage!! lol lol
 |  |
yes, I remember now! I'm sure there's not a woman in this world who's never dreamt of doing the same thing to some bloke!
 |  |
have caused two servere attacks. I don't do things like that as much anymore! as I have furniture that has legs so I can hoover underneath, one problem solved, the other I've told them I don't do my housework to please them, if they don't like it they can either choose not to visit or shut up, I More...
 |  |
wow! and here was me thinking it was the safest thing around! Just shows you, you never know. Haven't heard any bad press about echinacea here and certainly haven't heard it linked to asthmatics. Shall have to look into this...
 |  |
right, am definitely going now, see you all later.
 |  |
agress??? agrees! he now has his own place and won't let me visit as he's worried I might clean, and he won't be able to find anything? that's because everything would be in the closet or in the kitchen cupboards? and LOL rosemary but I dont believe it!!
 |  |
If you have been taking it for a long time with no side affects then don't stop! as it is working for you. I wouldn't stop taking something if it was working for me, your body has adapted to the echinecea so dont fix it if it ain't broke. ok catch up with you later!!
 |  |
Well I am going as I need to make up my massage oil so it's Byeeeee!!!!!!! from me hopefully catch up with all tomorrow, probably tomorrow night at this stage??
 |  |
Yes. And believe it or not, I'm very happy to see you!
