Must say I was amazed at some of the convoluted answers I got to yesterday’s puzzle. I think Sarah’s answer was by far the best:
“Boy, even I can do this one! Fold each of the points into the center. To find the center, fold the square diagonally each way. Most children's simple origami begins More...

Today's puzzle: OK, if you can multiply a three digit by 2 and by 3, then this is not a serious math puzzle.

There are four three-digit numbers that share a strange property: if you take the number itself, its double and its triple, the result contains each digit from 1 to 9 exactly once. More...

Hello, another quiet day with not many posts. Just got up to feed the cat. My grand daughter is staying the weekend and the cat does not like to come in when anyone else is here!

Hello everyone! A brisk 9*C this morning outside (it's cooler about 3 houses further down the street!) & only 13*C here in the study! The family room is warmer because the fire was going last night but the computer is here in the study!

That's a bit cooler than I like in the house Kate. It's 23*C here right now. A very balmy day.

BTW Kate, I did go back and look at all of your pictures, geez, I guess over a month ago. Just didn't make any comments. Guess I ought to do that. I did like the series on the house demolition and the 'movement' of the septic tank.

There was a frost here this morning too. I am over winter already. Set the heatpump to come on at 6.30 and the logburner stayed in all night so the living room was pleasantly warm first thing. It was sunny too but now there is some high cloud obscuring the sun
