Have fun, fun, fun Kathy! How old are the grandies?
We're going to get the 20 month-old twins on Saturday night! It's only the second time they've been to our house. (It's much easier to go to theirs.)

I've been up since 6:15, MUCH earlier than I get up at home! The kids are all pretty self-sufficient. They even pack their own school lunches now! So my main duties are chauffeuring, cooking, cleaning, and laundry!!!

I got up late today, around 7. Last night was interrupted by a lot of tag team waking up in the middle of the night. I love it when they take turns.

I've been using my new Kindle Fire to type my Comments. I don't like how it changes the words I'm trying to type! Is that what they call Auto-correct? Is there some way I can turn that feature off? Any advice from other Kindle users would be appreciated.

Christmas question for the day. What is your must have Christmas dinner food?

I actually can't answer this one. Growing up, Thanksgiving was our only eating holiday. Typically around Christmas I ask ''Are we doing a dinner this year''? Sometimes we do, sometimes we don't.

Cookies, Serena!
That seems to be the common factor in all Christmas dinners.
But... For many years at family Christmas dinners I made a 'Death by Chocolate' made with layers of broken-up brownies, Chocolate mousse, whipped cream, and broken Heath bars. Everyone expected it. I put it in a trifle bowl and the presentation could be spectacular!

Must have 'Plum pudding' for Christmas dinner (middle of the day). It was best before we changed to decimal currency (1966) and there was money, threepennies and sixpences in the pudding.
A different metal used in the coins these days.

Yum! Sounds like a great tradition, June!
In the US it used to be fruitcake, but comedy skits on late-night TV ruined fruitcake for most of us! (But then, there are some pretty bad fruitcakes commercially made!) Homemade was always best.

Now, along with the horrible smells, flowing through my house, the cold front and whatever they are doing across the road, has brought unwanted guests into my house, again. There are three of them, that I know of.
Oh, and my cats are huddling out in the shed.

Have no idea why the school is attempting to have class today. We won some kind of football finals thing, which has the team going to play in Dallas. This gave the school a half day, there were hardly any students in the classroom this morning, half the students there, had notes saying they were More...

As for Christmas dinner or favorite food...with Mom and MIL, there was/is no dinner, just snacks.
Man and I, make a traditional dinner, ham, stuffing/gravy, beans, sweet potatoes with marshmallows and mac and cheese.

Mac and cheese is a staple, but I need my dressing with gravy and cranberry sauce.
