Kids say only the truth as they know it....

A mother and her son, Eddy, were digging for fishing bait in a garden. Uncovering a many-legged creature, Eddy proudly dangled it before his mother. 'No, honey, he won't do for bait,' his mother said. 'He's not an earthworm.'
'He's not?' Eddy asked, his eyes wide. 'What planet is he from?'

A distraught senior citizen phoned her doctors office.
'Is it true', she wanted to know, 'that the medication you prescribed has to be take for the rest of my life?'
'Yes, i'm afraid so,' the doctor told her.
There was a moment of silence brfore the senior lady replied, 'I'm wondering just how serious is my condition because the prescription is marked

Barb asked me to thank everyone for being so thoughtful. She is at the hospital with her dad. Every thing went well. At 87 it will be a long rehab. He was in terrible pain and this will improve his spirits.

Good maEn,
It's still Fat Tuesday here - so enjoying the feast of today.
 |  |

Ed - glad to hear Barb's Dad's surgery went well. I was thinking of him & all your family today. Guess he couldn't ask for a better nurse than Barb!!!

1:49 my fastest ever ---- probably because I waited until evening

June --- that must have been quite a sight.
I still remember taking the ferry back from Manly late one night to Circular Quay and the 'black hole' between the heads. It was shortly after seeing the original Poseidon Adventure, so a bit creepy.

Hi everyone,
I know most of you through conversations with my wife. Now I'm in the loop struggling with the MEDIUMS and HARDS. I used to tease her about all the time she spent on line solving puzzles. Now I find out it's mostly the chats. Very puzzzling. Enjoyed the trip to Punta Gorda. It More...

A father passing by his son's bedroom was astonished to see that his bed was nicely made and everything was picked up. Then he saw an envelope, propped up prominently on the pillow that was addressed to 'Dad.' With the worst premonition he opened the envelope with trembling hands and read the More...

Hello Rob from Valrico
Nice to see you posting comments on the site. Do you mean that we may not see you too often because Kathy is always on the computer. ha! ha!
(I haven't got my smilies at work)
Cheers
 |  |
CHALKBOARD - I love it!! Very good and funny.
 |  |

Anne - You are the first to recognize Rob! I was very surprised to see his post tonight I have been daring him to do it for quite some time!! He probably won't have time to post very often, though, as he spends MUCH time working on HARDS now. We each have our own computer now. After he retired we just couldn't get along with only one anymore!!

Thank you to the 10 people who have already left an anniversary wish on Noemi B from Israel's page. If anyone else has time to add their congratulations to her & her husband on their 32nd anniversary, it would be most appreciated. Thank you.
