Good Maen all. I don't understand how this game works, plus I can't answer the questions, so PLEASE don't tag me.

I just got back from picking up 25 new chicks at the Post Office, now I have to go out and let the sheep out into their pasture.

Wow, I just got the system in an uproar because I tried to send a note using the Caps symbols over 4 of the numbers followed by ing. Let's see what happens with the numbers followed by ing. 3548ing
21/May/08 2:43 AM

Okay, I was asking if anyone else has had a joke rejected even after 3548ing any potential "bad" words. I also changed format, spacing, etc. and don't know what is the culprit. I'm really curious and may just post it 1 or 2 lines at a time until I find the offending part.

Keith - a male friend of mine says about the open fly problem - "It's okay, dead men don't fall out of open windows!"

Fiona - I don't know if one of these is the answer you had in mind, but here are two solutions to your riddle:

coached
coacted

reached
reacted

Hope everyone is having a lovely day. We're planning a little shopping trip to Jacksonville tomorrow morning, then we'll spend the afternoon on the beach at Fernandina. Summer is here. YAY!!!!

Judy & CP, ... it was the fly that got you ... but in very different ways. Hummm ... how should I interpret that?

Good afternoon to all! Thumbs up to Anne for identifying the photo as Canadian, and to Eve for saying the location! I had an expensive lunch there once, but the hotel was beyond my cost. The cheapest room in the place is anywhere from $180 to $260 a night, depending on the season you travel.

My last post went away somewhere!
Again...
Jane, I had just sent Fiona the coached - coacted solution and figured out the reached - reacted one. Great minds and all that...

Mr. Webster doesn't count coacted as a word! So... reached - reacted is my FINAL answer!

Kathy - I just looked up coact in my dictionary, and it's there! (Webster's 7th New Collegiate Dictionary)
21/May/08 3:59 AM
 |  |

Kathy - Naturally, you won't find "coacted" (the past tense of coact) in the dictionary - just as you won't find "reacted" (the past tense of react) in the dictionary. Interestingly, "proactive" does not appear in my dictionary, but Wikipedia claims the word was coined in 1946. Go figure!

I tag JANE and MAMACITA! (and I'll get you, Andre!)

Jane, I have a REALLY OLD dictionary! I just looked and the last copyright is 1968! I am aware coactED would not be in there, but, trust me, neither is coact. Goes right from coach-man to coaction. I guess it's time to replace this poor old dog-eared friend Got me through school, it did.
