Good Morning, everyone!
Slowly digging out from about 18 to 20 inches of snow. It's been an adventure!

Off to look at Jim's photos....

Rough night for breathing with this cold. Little Plum was coming down with it last night, too, on top of another flare up of her quadrucep injury. Man, this isn't how I'd vote to spend the week before Christmas. I still have puppet show props to work on so the Nutcracker candy can dance.

7. You're serving reindeer pot pie

6. When you hear, "Sleigh bells ring, are you listenin'?," you scream, "No! I'm not listening!"

Thanks for the chuckle!

A few snowflakes falling here, but still nothing staying on the ground, not like some of you poor folks who are digging out ...
Plan to ski on Wednesday south of Buffalo so keeping fingers crossed that we won't have to drive through a storm to get there.

Good Morning all. This has been a challenging morning, the power has gone off and on about a dozen times since 6:00 am. Did we pay the electric bill? To Kathy and all our east coast friends good luck digging out. Have a great day.

Woke up early yesterday morning, got our thermals on and went to see the lighting of the Olympic torch downtown. So moving to watch the runners carrying it, so proud. A great experience!

Nancy, my 94 year-old mother had her power (resulting in no heat) go out on Saturday. Luckily the power company takes that age/heat combination quite seriously.

Congrats, Vici! Like your cat!
Cathy, that must have been fun seeing the torch!
Hope you get snow, but not on the roads!

A funny not a seasonal one but one all teachers would understand:
A lecturer teaching medicine was tutoring a class on 'Observation'. He took out a jar of yellow-colored liquid. "This", he explained, "is urine. To be a doctor, you have to be observant to color, smell, sight, and More...

shosho - I once had a smart alek science teacher declare that his supply of uric acid was getting low in the store room and that an upcoming lesson needed it, so we should be expecting any time to have to collect urine at home and bring it in. (Never happened, but it had us worried.)
