I probably started puzzling in '06 and lurked. It was a long time before I realized I really didn't have to finish the puzzle to be "allowed" to post! Guess what? There are times when I even go straight to the posts skipping the puzzle!

All the talk about the "old-timers" on the site got me to realizing that I've been a member for more than a year now! Can't believe the time has flown by so fast! I guess I lurked for about 6 months to a year before I joined, but I never even noticed the comments - I was too busy working the puzzles. Now I'm hooked on the 16x16's so don't even have time for the others!

CG - I like your idea of letting everyone figure out for themselves when they started posting (maybe a long time after they began lurking!?). It seems like lots of folks have reporting on that already!!! I can see where it would be a huge job for one person to figure out so many different people's More...

Fiona, the wedding, now that brings back memories. There was so many things that had to be arranged. Mostly getting people there, the booze and the hocolate, not to forget transportation.
Yes I'm still here and do pop in occasionally when time permits.
Well just popping out again.
Andre always did like that popping sound because it meant another open bottle of Bolly.

Hi! I think I kind of posted off and on late 2006, found one of mine on Christmas day 2006. Joined about February, 2007 after my grandson's birth. Some of you remember my pacing nervously around that week before. He's almost one and a half years old! So I can see my time with Sudokuland grow with him.

Found it. You can all stop looking.
My first post was 28 October 2005 and back then I was Pete from Port Douglas then but tried shortening it to PD Pete as we didn't have to put a from then. Do now.
As long as this site runs I will post, at least occasionally.
Sure beats working.

Marylinn - when you don't have kids around to fix it - you take out a lot of cash & go down out and pay off a computer wizard (or whatever). When they told me it would be 4 days before they could work on it, unless I wanted it expedited (more money). When I considered that it would be at More...

I paid the extra money - because I'm adicted - couldn't go for a week or two w/o all you wonderful people out there. Cheers to all of you!
