I went out this morning to start up my car since I haven't driven it in a week. Good thing I don't need it.....the battery was dead.
Hubby called the mechanic at the gas station I use and he sent someone out to jump start it. They have taken it away to replace the battery. At least I hope that's why they took it. Either that, or they stole it.

Hi all. Just checking in. Day 13 - no fever, just the occasional runny nose, frequent coughing and lots of sleep - so quite bearable at this point. Thank you all for all your good wishes. And keep safe and isolated, everyone!

to everyone sheltering in place.
Snowed during the night! Quite pretty, but would be prettier if the sun was out - which is predicted, but then it's supposed to warm up! Wonder which will happen first? Melting or sunshine???
Hope your day is sunny all the time!

Morning all,great photo ,Sacky.
I had my first phone consultation with a Dr yesterday, she only took me in to check my temperature and lungs . I have the flu so I'm on antibiotics. The only time I've left the house if it was absolutely necessary.
Stay safe everyone.

I was just reading Arachnid's comment from yesterday, on FB we have a page of people that were born and grew up in this area. One lady lives near the beach and was walking along and heard two young women laughing about the fact that they were supposed to be self isolating as they had just came back from New York.

Went to Woolies this AM and whilst there security was called to the checkout twice, and then police were patrolling the aisles. I never saw the sign and had to put back one small 350g jar of pasta sauce as there was a two jar limit. Seemed a bit crazy as I could have taken twice the quantity by More...

Indeed aussie I had the same issue at Woolies. I picked 3 x 2L milks as per our normal weekly shop only to find flashing red lights at the checkout and a grumpy assistant confiscating one of them. How embarrassing!!

My wife says I have to keep at least 2 metres away from her. Is it the virus or is she making this up for other reasons?

This is the one time in history that we can save the world just by lounging on our couches so let's not screw this up.

Good Maen
I guess our little touch of snow is called an onion snow, plant those onions. I thought it was just nature’s way of doing a wipe down like so many of are doing
