That is a magnificent web.
We had a very determined spider that made a web every night from a bush to my car door. Pretty much every day someone would walk through it, or, I would need to drive my car. Every night spidey would More...

Every time I try to post a comment the message post ‘turns off’ after a few seconds. I wind up having to key in on note pad then copy/paste.
Any Idea what’s going on with that?

I've also sent a email to Gath about this.

Many enjoyable hours have been spent enjoying a quiet evening on the patio or elsewhere watching an orb spider build her trap. It is fascinating to follow their process.

Good mAen, good people. So, I have slept most of the day and when I have been upright I have been blowing my nose and consuming highly refined sweet and/or salty carbs. I can't taste anything else. At least I am cleaning out my freezer of frozen meals and waffles. I don't know what possessed me to buy the junk, but it's coming in handy now.

Today is a Spring Has Sprung Day. Glorious. I can't smell the outside air coming in the open window, but the warm breeze is a balm. There's a little corrugated box that WAS sitting next to the window which the wind is now slowly scootching along the floor. It's not worth bending to pick it up.

We are listening to a Pandora station of 50s tunes. I can't sing along. My throat isn't working words. Skye asked me a question earlier. I whispered an answer and she started whispering back then caught herself and we laughed.

Bless my girls. They have determined that Mom is unlikely to feed them this weekend so they have gotten out the menu board, inventoried the fridge and pantry and decided what there is to eat the next few days. I've raised Survivors.

Your description of trying to post a comment, Jeb, seems a perfect explanation of my dilemmas with posting occasionally...It doesn't ALWAYS happen, but when it does, I've resorted to precisely your solution: I have an email draft to which I resort, then copy & paste it. Your description is much better phrased than any I've tried to compose, so maybe Gath can do what he does best........

Guess we sashayed right on by #22 and just kept moving - sorry Keith!

It happened just now, Jeb! I had to write this in a draft to copy & paste... finished my previous comment & my ability to keep my cursor in the comment box disappeared!

Joyce, I got a response back from Gath as follows:
'Sorry, I don’t know what could be causing that. It sounds like something on your browser is stealing the focus from the textbox when you are typing. Have you got any plugins installed in your browser.'
My #2 son is a high level IT guy so next time he's in town I'll turn him loose on it.

Discussion at morning coffee touched on Chuck Berry's passing and all I could think of to say was; 'His grave stone should say: 'No Particular Place to Go'.

Joyce, I can't say with any certainty when #2 will pay a visit, maybe get Nana to fuss about seeing her grandsons, and I'm sure it will cost me a high quality craft brew or two as well. But I will post his take on the issue.

I did eliminate/uninstalled some programs which had recently been downloaded without my knowledge -rather recently based upon the dates. I will report my success with the results, but the problem has always been that it isn't a continual problem - only occasional, so we'll see over this coming week...?? This long rambling comment required no copy & pasting. Nice excuse to have #2 visit, though!
