Good Morning everyone. I'm back on deck after a weekend off. Our hot water system wasn't working on Friday morning. To run out of hot water meant it hadn't worked since Wednesday. We sat around all day waiting for an electrician who didn't turn up. Luckily for us as it turns out, the system turned itself back on Friday night and we had hot water again on Saturday.

I'm going to visit my sister at the end of next week. I hope all the flooding has subsided by then. It's grey again today with more showers coming. We had so much rain early last week that Brisbanes's dams have risen from under 60% to 73% full - another years supply. It is wonderful when we think that at the beginning of 2008 there was the threat that Brisbane would run out of water.

Heard on the radio that 25th is Memorial Day holiday in the USA. Since I had never heard of that day, I looked it up and it seems to be the equivalent of our ANZAC day. Hey! Had a wonderful time with Katitude and her hubby, Robert, (the cute guy as I named him!) I've just posted the pictures of them on my page! They're a great pair and soooo funny! She's so warm hearted but with a wickedly humorous tongue. He is Mick Dundee with a passion for cars! We spent a hilarious time getting lost and talking to the traffic.
