Hello everyone!
As I got up to open the blinds this morning I could see the brightness of the outside showing through the slats. I said to myself, 'Oh good! It's a sunny day!' I opened the blinds excitedly and to my surprise and dismay found that the brightness I saw was more snow! More...

Dave - Are you doing both those activities on the one golf course???

to all my sudokuland friends. My birthday was March 7 and Mr Len and I spent a lovely day together. The next day I fell and broke my left arm and my wrist. I had surgery on the 12th. and we were back to see the doctor yesterday. The x-rays, doctor said, look excellent and now the healing will continue.

Typing is slower with just one hand even though I am right handed. I have no doubt it would be impossible if I had broken my right arm and wrist.
The other news is my son and family are moving to Scotland. I have been following the post Kathy and Jane have put on TOS and must say Australians know how to treat a visitor.

Last week we skied in the morning and played golf 68 degrees in the afternoon. Skiing is about a 45 minute drive up into the mountains. About 4 to 5 thousand feet higher elevation.

I was already aware of the welcome I received in Australia. I will miss coming but I certainly want any of you to know when you come to the US we would love to have you visit us in Tennessee. Fellow Americans, you are welcome to come visit too.

If there were mountains in this area, maybe I'd have a reason to like snow, Dave!

Shiela, we had snow here in Middle Tennessee this morning too. I just looked outside and....
I should say, we had snow. It has melted already!
Sorry Shiela. I should delete this...but I shall hiy submit anyway. The reason?

GmaJackie, sounds like you've had a rough time! I am so glad you are healing well!

There were mountains where you grew up, Shiela, weren't there? Aren't you a Yooper?
26/Mar/14 12:35 AM
 |  |

Not quite a Yooper, Judy...
I'm a 'Troll'! I lived under the bridge! (Petoskey area.)
Yes, there are several ski areas up there. I lived about 7 miles from Boyne Mountain.

A CP...but I had a very nice interruption and may not have a CP... we will see.

Dave would laugh at our use of 'mountains'!

Should I wait for Keith or take it for him?
26/Mar/14 12:40 AM

I certainly got in everyone's way this morning, didn't I?
(Sorry, GmaJackie!)
26/Mar/14 12:42 AM
 |  |

(With GmaJackie's help, I took it, didn't I?)
26/Mar/14 12:43 AM

Does that mean you get an 'assist', Jackie?

What a cutie.

The box originally contained 27 donuts.
When Canuk Greg finishes his third, the box contains just eight donuts, which means that when HalT finished, he must have left 12 donuts. From this we can also tell that the remaining 12 donuts More...

Shiela, I worked one summer during college at Boyne Mountain! I remember going into Petosky for delicious fudge, cherries, and Topsiders! Very pretty area ... and a nice place to grow up!

Rebus time:

A couple of notes:

1. As a reminder answers to puzzles should be sent to my inbox as a private message through my page.
2. The next person who tells me that a puzzles is easy, too easy, really easy, ridiculously easy, etc. is volunteering to post my next day’s puzzle.

Answers to my ‘’at least it’s sunny’’ inbox please.

Since I was first to open Serena's prize, I ate one-fourth of the donuts.

We also have snow this morning.

Jackie, what a time you've had. I am happy to hear the healing process is going well.

You tell 'em, Serena!

Yes, the 'mountains' in the Lower Peninsula of Michigan are kind of a joke. At Boyne Mountain, holes one and two of the summer golf course went up and then down the bunny slope! Uninspiring skiing, but a good workout while golfing!

But Hal, there were 10 winners! You should only eat one tenth.

To tempt the unnamed math phobes to try Serena's puzzle yesterday, I was tempted to post here that it wasn't too hard! I am very glad I didn't! LOL!

Seems to me that you just did, Judy.

Pam, I got one-third in the puzzle and I wasn't very hungry. So I just took one-fourth. Besides, when I got the box, I didn't know how many would follow.

And anyway, if there were any donuts in the box when Judy got to it, nobody else would have gotten any!
