MizTricia, I'm reading Ian Rankin's "The Hanging Garden", but it's about the eighth of a series so isn't really a good one to start with. If you're after a really good book, my favourite is "Lincoln's Dreams" by Connie Willis, or "Doomsday Book" by the same author.

How cute! Batdog!

Good Maen to all. It is snowing here again this morning. It is very pretty, but.......I think I am ready for Spring! I am tired of wading through snow, salt, slush....... I am ready to see some green grass and flowers!

Good morning! Bight and sunny here and a lovely minus 6 C.

Debby, cannot help you with green grass at the moment, but should I photograph my containers of blooming pansies for you to see? Remind you there are still flowers in the northern hemisphere?

Oh Tricia! That would be wonderful! It is so "white" here...... It is suppose to be warmer over the week-end, but we haven't seen the warmer temps yet. It is still in the teens here. (F) They are predicting snow mixed with rain for next week.

It's raining and cold. Unusual. It's usual one or the other. We have had floods in Marin county where my youngest daughter (Celeste) lives. It floods there every three to four years. There is a lawsuit against spending the money to fix the creek. Worst the money is there.

Dorthea, it's OK to be like rose ... in fact, it's not a bad idea at all ... plenty of time relaxing in the naughty corner.
