 Good Maen 27/Sep/13 12:00 AM |  |
Hello, John! Another beautiful day in SE Michigan! Getting fitted this morning for an orthotic that may replace the ankle brace & do the same for tendon replacement surgery. Hope it works. Too bad the insurance won't pay for it \$\$\$. Funny, they'll pay for the \$3,000+ surgery, though. 27/Sep/13 12:10 AM |  |
Good morning. I have just spent hours getting some photos from our trip ready(reducing the size) to put on my page. A job for tomorrow! 27/Sep/13 12:13 AM |  |
Good morning people of the world. 27/Sep/13 12:13 AM |  |
 Johnny Appleseed Day 27/Sep/13 12:14 AM |  |
Seriously, thought about moving this morning and the possibility is still there. I am sure everyone has heard my complaint about how doing one task leads to a million other tasks. Like this morning, taking out the trash, led to picking up toys out of the drive, (I have threatened to More... 27/Sep/13 12:15 AM |  |
Thanks, Johnny! Have an apple today, everyone! 27/Sep/13 12:16 AM |  |
The best photos are probably the ones that you forget to take because you were startled, Karen! Good job! 27/Sep/13 12:18 AM |  |
What a beautiful picture today!!! Is this also a fjord? 27/Sep/13 12:21 AM |  |
This looks like more of the fjord from yesterday. It's beautiful, and here come my usual rant. FIX THE JIGSAW PAGE ON EASY PUZZLES!!!!! 27/Sep/13 12:23 AM |  |
I discovered a long time ago that the best way to deal with an encroaching tarantula is with an aerosol can and a cigarette lighter. It makes a wonderful blow torch which crisps the tarantula nicely. 27/Sep/13 12:27 AM |  |
Heidi and Karen, you two would love the video I took of a tarantula while at Big Bend NP a few years ago. Thing walked right by my foot. 27/Sep/13 12:36 AM |  |
That is a wonderful idea, Heidi.Do you think the insurance company would like that excuse, 'Well, yes, I did set the fire to my house, but I had to get rid of the tarantula.' 27/Sep/13 12:46 AM |  |
M and I need to run an errand, but I keep imagining as I back out of the garage that thing will fall on us. I do not care that image. 27/Sep/13 12:48 AM |  |
 everyone!!! 27/Sep/13 12:52 AM |  |
HalT, darling, dear, no I would not. The last time I saw a tarantula, up close and personal, that was not in a picture or on the television, I was a preteen. I know, not that long ago. There was about 5 of us, out in the pasture, on a Summer night, reason we were out after dark, and there 4 of those huge beast, and we had sticks poking at them. Oh, the strange things preteens do. 27/Sep/13 12:52 AM |  |
I thought that tarantulas were exotic creatures that existed elsewhere until my family and I encountered one in Fresno! We were relaxing on a path within my uncle's farm after hiking all over when easy as you please a brown tarantula saunters up the path we were on! 27/Sep/13 12:55 AM |  |
My sons were almost paralytic with fascination. My hubby had a good grip on me to keep me from screaming and jumping from there. Luckily the tarantula decided to mosying off to another orange tree. I crossed to the other side of the path and sat. But I kept eyeing that tree! 27/Sep/13 12:57 AM |  |
I'll leave and let Keith TRY to get his number. But with Karen and HalT, I don't think he has a chance. 27/Sep/13 12:58 AM |  |
My sister has informed me that these creatures are popular out here. I am just getting to the point, where I almost do not scream when a lizard decides to come into my personal space. And I think the strange looking creature, that at first I could not tell if it was an oddly shaped cat or a small More... 27/Sep/13 1:02 AM |  |
 I do not wait. :) 27/Sep/13 1:02 AM |  |
Karen.... I try not to use a home-made blow torch indoors near anything flammable. I've only used them when I found tarantulas in the kitchen sink or in the bathtub. Fortunately, there are no tarantulas in Kentucky. 27/Sep/13 1:12 AM |  |
I did NOT use a blow torch the night I found a tarantula on my pillow as I was about to go to bed. That WOULD have burned down the house. 27/Sep/13 1:14 AM |  |
 Oh, my stars, Heidi! 27/Sep/13 1:20 AM |  |
Cant think of anything to write here about spiders that would be suitable for this site! There is a place for them just not anywhere near me 27/Sep/13 1:25 AM |  |
I'm doubting that it's the same place or maybe just not the same submitter because yesterday's picture had a caption. 27/Sep/13 1:39 AM |  |
I do agree with you, Lizzy. Nothing good to say and I do not care for them near me. Yet, I got my baby out of her bed to show it to her...hummm. 27/Sep/13 1:41 AM |  |

And for today: A B C D E F G H What letter is three to the right of the letter that is immediately to the left of the letter that is two to the right of the letter that is three to the left of the letter F ? Answers to my ‘’Not Z’’ inbox please. 27/Sep/13 1:43 AM |  |
I'm off. I need to go get little boy from preschool. 27/Sep/13 1:44 AM |  |
Wish us luck. M and I are about to leave. I forgot, I backed into the garage, so just as soon as the clearance is clear, I am going to zoom out of the garage, and hope I do not end up in the people's house across the street. I am sure their tree will stop us, but it is more to the side, their living room is a straight shot from our garage. 27/Sep/13 1:45 AM |  |
Slept in ... what can I say. The mirror calm water says lake to me. Reminds me of high country backpacking. Beautiful shot. 27/Sep/13 2:01 AM |  |
 WOW! 27/Sep/13 2:11 AM |  |
It almost looked like an oil painting, to me! I would love to be there. 27/Sep/13 2:37 AM |  |
I'm still trying to figure out Serena's puzzle of the day! But I keep getting my relative lefts and rights mixed up! 27/Sep/13 2:49 AM |  |
It should be just a simple set of directions but I was never good at navigation! 27/Sep/13 2:49 AM |  |
My problem, shosho, is that you really have to navigate 'backwards', and I have enough trouble going forward! I got two different answers, but I THINK I finally got it. Only time will tell. 27/Sep/13 2:51 AM |  |
Once I was suppose to go downtown for a meeting. Got on the freeway, the right one, of course. I guess the wrong direction. When I saw the Hollywood sign (which is west of downtown) I knew I was heading the wrong way! SO, I continued west to home instead! 27/Sep/13 2:51 AM |  |
