We have spent the day with some of my husbands co-workers. (It is great to be retired.) It is so nice to be with friends.

Hi Shiela! I'm here but not for long because my hubby is roaring about something to do with dinner. I guess he expects me to make it! I'm not hungry yet. But I guess I'll have to go. :-(

Shiela, I changed to a puppy to go visit Denny. I didn't want his dogs to get lonely.
Now I'm a polar bear because winter is on it's way - overcast and cool here today.

I saw birthday Denny's dogs, too (Nice dogs, Denny!) and wondered if that was why!

eaa, that's a bit harsh don't you think. Apart from Mr Grumpy and Mr "the world revolves around me" I think my children are just wonderful. By the way I only have two.

Victoria, I only have two also. But they are soooo talented, they have driven me crazy looooong ago!!! Now one of them has his own child. And he's going crazy. They say insanity is hereditary, you get it from your kids!

I have two also and they are purfect in every way Hu hum. I am minding a grandson at the moment and being a grandparent is certainly different from been a parent.

Actually Mr Grumpy aka the apprentice can be quite useful outside the house. He is very good about helping his father with handyman projects or cooking on the bbq (years of practice at McDonalds). I have a son who is nearly 15.
He has just started part time work after school some days and some nights at a local fish and chip shop.
He is enjoying it though but cannot seem to apply his work ethic to his home life !!!! lol

This may have something to do with the fact that his father left him explicit instructions this morning before he left for school !
