Glinda - real maple syrup or artificially flavoured m/s, if maple syrup at all? Again, only out of concern for your well-being, your breafast selection does not seem overly nutritious...

When someone (Billy, Jane, etc) posts:

'Great site! You can find related info on the following sites:' - but with no follow-up links

Does anyone know what that's about? It seems to happen here quite a lot.

Topaz
fantastic about the new job.
 |  |
Nurn - do they? shows how much I'm switched on...but then my eyes are suffering today, not sure if its sun-blindness or alcohol induced...x
 |  |
Rose - thanks heaps for spoiling! I was waiting for the replay at 1.00pm (not wanting to have to wake up at 4.00am for the live version). However, have to agree - Mitchell had an absolute shocker - so sad to see the Force go down first week! Thought the Highlanders did pretty well though!

No storms yet here in south Florida, we had a record warm day (90F) and strong south winds. Florida is a very large state, it is more than 700 miles from Key West in the farthest south to Pensacola in the Panhandle of Florida's far northwest. Most communities here do not have tornado sirens like More...

What happened to your knees, NURN?
 |  |
Billy from Perth - sorry - 'do they' what? I dunno if I meant you in my last - it's just i've seen the name 'billy' often in posts that say 'Great site! You can find related info on the following sites:' - but with no follow-up links; not that I would follow any links from such a comment.

Happy 24th Wedding Anniversary GannieMo and Steve.
 |  |
Nurn - nup - never in my life, well, on the sudoku site that is have I said that...a case of mistaken identity - unless there is another billy....
 |  |
Judy, thanks for asking, nothing 'happened' - I have familial bad knees. Details irrelevant and/or boring.
 |  |
Billy, I never thought it was you of course, I always reckoned a spam thing.
 |  |
OK, having confused everyone, I'm calling it a night. Good night, hope everyone stays well.
 |  |

GannieMo and Steve
happy 24th wedding anniversary
cheers
 |  |
Thanks for responding, NURN! That's a bummer, although I can't imagine anything about you being 'boring' ... LOL

I love animals, even diguised as Santa. The groundhog who predict the weather said 'That's it guys, pack up your woolens for next year, Spring is in a few weeks'
I believe we had not winterat all, we may have summer instead. Canada is full of surprises, 5 years ago it was minus-30 winter until More...

Nurn - not a prob - I am easily confused. Sleep well.x

Noemi: Groundhog Day or Groundhog's Day is a traditional festival celebrated in the United States and Canada on February 2. It is a cross-quarter day, midway between the Winter Solstice and the Vernal Equinox.

In traditional weather lore, if a groundhog emerges from its burrow on this day More...

Billy, thank you very much for replying to my post. After I toasted my waffles, I thought about putting maple syrup on them, but I decided not to. Then about an hour later, I was thinking about my waffles, and thought maybe I should have put maple syrup on them after all. So I poured a glass of maple syrup and drank it, and then it was fine.
 |  |
Judy, you are almost insanely kind-hearted! (I don't mean that in a bad way.) Thank you, and good night.
 |  |
Oh no. I forgot to put butter on the waffles.
 |  |
G'night, NURN!

Are you suffering from a bit of a sugar high, GLINDA??
 |  |
Good maEn,
it remains BRRRRRRRRRR but still in our hearts are the BEARS. keep warm
 |  |
Glinda - I too, have always found that waffles and maple syrup compliment each other well, but you still did not say whether it was real m/s or the artificial one. I would hesitate to drink a glass of artificially flavoured maple syryp...
 |  |
Glinda - before you open the fridge door to eat your block of butter - may I suggest you purchase 'Lurpak' unsalted butter.
 |  |

Glinda
are you ok?
no need for butter now.

Happy Anniversary Mo and Steve

Happy Anniversary Rola and Peter

(goodness, I hope I'm right Rola)
 |  |
..it's Danish by the way - and you may have a problem buying it at your local grocery store...if you do - I am more than happy to mail some out to you, but it may not be in block form ( a tad hot in Perth at the moment).
 |  |

Happy Anniversary Mo and Steve and Rola and Peter, best of everything to you xx
 |  |
My, you're looking very nice today.
 |  |
And you're looking quite fine yourself.
 |  |
Billy from Perth. In answer to your question, I had real maple syrup. And maybe I better get my butter here in maine. You were very nice to think about sending me some. Just like you were nice to suggest that I use a knife in my toaster.
 |  |
Thanks Anne and André for the Anniversary wishes.
Peter and I celebrated our 24th Wedding Anniversary a couple of weeks ago on the 15th Jan...
 |  |
You were wrong about that, you know.
 |  |
But nice.
 |  |
Happy day
 |  |
Glinda - glad to hear it was real m/s - nothing worse than overloading your digestive system with chemicals. I am very happy to help Glinda - any time. I was sorry to hear about your spoon though.
 |  |
to glinda: you should put a plate in the spare toaster slot so when you eat your toast your plate keeps it warm. and your hands stay warm as an added bonus. and if you don't have a spare toaster slot use a microwave.
 |  |
Glinda - I did say it maybe a 'cutlery thing'. Perhaps soak it in the sink the next time toast gets stuck in your toaster. The toast will turn soggy is my guess but at least it will not stick. Turn the toaster on to dry it out and voila - you can toast again. Hope this helps.
