Here I am ... out in my yard, minding my own business, sunbathing in ... uh ... whatever ... and this @#$%^&*! model plane keeps buzzing me! I'm going to swat that sucker right out of the air! Hold onto your antenna, Dave!

Minding your own busniess? Watch you Dave, sounds like Judy is on a mission to get your antenna!

Linda, if I wore what you described that would not be a pretty site, we would get kicked out of the resturant.

Time for me to get my shoes on and head to the 4 letter word! I'll check in later tonight, (in about 10 hours) to make sure Vici kept Judy out of trouble! I DON'T WANNA GO

3:03 This is an unusual photo. Its crisp lighting and detail suggests a close-up, but the animal is looking off to one side, while a wild animal would be "gone" or looking straight at a photographer. Plus it almost looks as if it's smiling. Under what circumstances was this photo taken? Actually looks "National Geographic."

Good Monday everyone. Looks like you all have been very chatty this morning.

I guess I should have gotten here earlier. Judy is swatting Dave's antennae??? How rude! Be careful, Dave. Don't think you'll function too well with a bent one....

HI all! Oh it's nice to be back after the parental visit, but I'm in full blown shellshock and hardly able to find the strength to go find a riddle for you - you know why? I actually did something called work today - I had my first day back after the 5 month break and boy does it hit you hard!!! Need to sit down....

Here's a mathematical teaser for you today - good luck to all - answers to my inbox please(decidedly empty at the moment!)
It was an excellent basketball game, according to Coach Pasquale; the team set a record high. In the 4th quarter, they scored 1/4 of the total points which they scored in More...

Oh dear Fiona - that does sound like a miserable shock! Finding yourself at work after all that time off! Drew a nice hot rose bath for you.
Thanks for the puzzle - will see if I can get my brain around it...I'm pretty fried trying to keep tabs on that crazy Judy! She won't leave Dave's antenna alone!
04/Nov/08 3:09 AM

have you made a mistake in that puzzle Fiona?
Where it reads "In the 2nd, they scored 1/2 of their score at the end of the 2nd, less 1"
04/Nov/08 3:09 AM
 |  |

Sorry - no - I have misunderstood - OK
04/Nov/08 3:10 AM

Vici, just going for that bath although imagining Judy swatting Dave's antenna is disconcerting to say the least. Rayray, I don't make mistakes, how could you imagine such a thing especially after the hard day I've had, but it's quite possible the puzzle site does!! Can anyone else make head or tail of it?

Oh, Linda, you have me nostalgic for those weiner stick days ... good times. Right now, I don't even want to speculate on the condition of poor Dave's antenna.

Fiona - I know I could make sense of your puzzle if I had only paid more attention in my high school algebra classes. Unfortunately, I only memorized to pass tests. I couldn't believe I would have had a need for it in my adult life, and here is sit

Vici, I was a memoriser too!! How sad to think the only way I got an A-Level in Maths was to memorise without understanding a thing...
04/Nov/08 3:46 AM

Jerry, algebra is that easy stuff before Calculus, Differential Equations, and Bessemer Functions. Then you get to LaPlace transforms, which simplify the hard stuff into .... algebra.

OUCH Jim! That hurts my head!
Fiona - the funny thing about all that memorising is that with my memory slipping, I'm really up sh*t creek!
Jerry - thanks for letting me know I'm not the Lone Ranger!

Sorry to leave out my good friend:
Analytical Geometry!
OK here's my math quiz:
What are the 3 kind of conical sections?
04/Nov/08 3:56 AM
 |  |

Not all at once!
04/Nov/08 3:58 AM
 |  |

Geez, Jim!! Don't be so impatient! My memory is shot! This hurts! I have dredged up (from the mists of time) that conical sections are parts of a cone.
The ONLY thing I (vaguely) remember is ellipse. Now I must go lie down.....
04/Nov/08 4:07 AM

Jim, how about circle, ellipse and triangle?
