Plum & everyone!
Rainy today.
No worries... Fill your day with your own sunshine!

What a great photo. It appears the animals in Antarctica are less afraid of people and pose themselves for photos. I love all the photos from all the Sudokuland travelers who have visited Antarctica, but I don't think I'm warm blooded enough to even contemplate visiting there myself.

Shiela, you are Sudokuland's ray of sunshine! Are you happy with how the art show went up?

It goes up this Friday, Plum. I've made all the preparations for the show - labels, list, etc - for 24 artists & over 70 paintings. Hopefully no one will add at the last minute. Artist's reception is on Saturday.

Animals in the Galapagos are the same as in Antarctica, Plum - little fear of humans. All are protected there, but they have to keep them off the airport runway! (We had to wait for a crew to move an Iguana from the taxiway so the plane could get to the gate!)

I have some pictures from the Galapagos on my page. Shiela is correct. The iguanas have the right of way there. You wait for them to move before you do.

Enjoyed seeing your Galapagos photos, Kathy. Our ship was much smaller. Held only 20 guests - and had no pool!

The Galapagos sound good. Tropical penguins are my speed.

Today we have vultures. There are 6 on the fence across the road from our driveway. We've had them perching on top of our house! Gives you an eerie feeling of impending doom!
(Actually, there's a dead raccoon across the road that is attracting them.)

Did my this morning. Put the wet clothes in the dryer and noticed a mess on the floor so I swept it up. Completely forgetting to turn on the dryer but I did turn on the timer on my phone! Argh!!!

Hmmm - nice photos, Kathy - don't think I ever had scrolled though them before! There was a resident iguana in Mexico at our resort ...everyone side-stepped him/her whenever there was an encounter!

I was doing laundry this morning, also. I went to the laundry room to take the towels from the washer and put them in the dryer....found water all over the floor. Evidently, when the water spun out of the washer it just leaked all over. Hubby couldn't see a broken hose, so we're not sure why. More...

🙋🏼☔️Good day good people! Going to buckle down and use that ham bone for soup this week ! Plus plan to make a ham and potato dish - will master creme sauce and promise to cook it at least 30 minutes to cook out the flour ! Big plans !

shosho - I do that all the time.
Oh, Kathy - We had a similar mishap Friday but it was because someone left a rag sitting over the edge of the utility room sink. The washer water normally exhausts in to the sink and goes down the drain but the rag fell in and plugged the sink. Water everywhere. More...

My research for an appropriate 33 took too long, alas. Yet I will still suggest a Felicia Laundry Day cocktail. It's even purple ('designed to look like laundry detergent').Drinks all around.

You can do it, Mary. Your dinner plans sound good. Actually, all your plans do. Tell your 'mother' to keep her shirt on. No need to nag yourself.

I need to do something similar with our leftover ham, minus the floury white sauce.

Shiela - your story immediately brought to mind the scene in the first Harry Potter movie of hundreds of owls perching on the house and yard. So I reimagined with vultures instead of owls. Rather Munster-ish or Aadamsy. Until I edited and inserted the vultures from The Jungle Book. 'What you want to do today? I don't know. What you want to do?'
