It was then rekindled when I visited Giverny, the home of Monet, on the banks of the River Seine, west of Paris. There is an arched walk about 4 metres wide and 100 metres long planted with giant nasturtiums 'Promenade des Capucines', magnificent.

Ganniemo, WOW! What a transformation you've made from neglected to beautiful! It would be impossible to say one is more beautiful than another but I am drawn to Kimono. Roses always make me think of my parents. My dad had a few rose bushes and would bring cut flowers to mom as if they were a gift worth gold.

I think roses are worth gold. Not so much the forced scentless ones in florists out of season but there is nothing quite like freshly cut roses from your own garden.

Thank you, Mari for visiting my garden, do feel free to visit anytime and do not forget to smear a light bulb with a little rose oil before looking then you too can enjoy the perfume.

I think I will take you up on that offer now! I'll refill my coffee cup and be right there!

I'll need to bring a lamp into this room to try out the rose oil idea as I think climbing onto furniture to reach the ceiling light might cause me to land somewhere that is NOT a rose garden!

Here in Sudokuland, since people have SO much to say, I think the going definition is 5 posts = a CP.
(Good morning, again.)
