I appreciate and am totally guilty of enjoying other members posts without acknowledging.

I see our old friend Lori finally found us. I chuckled at her ''little book'' reference. I have one, too.
I am not an early riser (unless forced) for the same reason Keith gave. If I go to bed too early, I am awake at 3-4 AM. More...

… and how was your FOOT, Shiela? Did it impair your enjoyment & intentions to walk & wander to all those glorious places? I missed your daily 'sunshine report'! Welcome home!

Thank you Kathy for the report - Wally is not only a determined warrior, but oh, such a cutie as well!

I think Arachnid's & Wombat's points about recognizing jokes & recounting silly /surprising stories - I never think to make note of something which happened within the previous day's collection of posts … making the decision it is too late, but I will do it starting now.

I enjoyed Anne's jokes at the end of yesterday's chatter!

AND - 5 or 6 days ago, I loved Wombat's story of teaching music & Peter's stories of his scraggly beard-growing in the service --- sorry it took so long to let you know they were appreciated!

Thanks for the reminder to do this

I've just read yesterday's comments, Anne's jokes made me laugh and it was great to see Lori back.
Had fun doing Wombat and team puzzle yesterday.

So how are you Aussies & Tass-es coping with DST - is it a trial which lasts several days or is it easy for you to adjust?

Welcome back Shiela, it sounds like you had a great time! I'll be spending a few days in Rome in late April/early May on the way back from the Boston marathon. I'll be there for another run (what else! 😂) but I'm looking forward to seeing as much of the city as I can in a short time.

all. I am back on the site, thankfully. The major move has curtailed my posting. As well, I have had some health issues - nothing major. I do manage to solve the sidokus & Wombat's poozles. I'm sorry Sue for what you've been dealing with! On another note has anyone heard from Plum lately? I miss her posts!

Just a thought (no rude comments please because I do occasionally have them ). The number of post during recent times has been low. Should we all make an effort to do just a bit more? For instance a to a particular post would let the person know we have read.

And just because I'm on a roll we have three grandchildren with us for 10 days of their school holidays. They live 2000 Klms away whilst their parents are posted up North with the parents unable to get time off this school holidays. By 8pm we are ready for bed. so much energy
