Cold and blustery in the land of 10,000 lakes. 06/Nov/07 3:04 AM |  |
I can just picture Andre and Fiona fighting over Johnny, each pulling on one side of him, shrieking, with chocolate dribbling out of the corners of their mouths. The poor lad is going to split right up the middle. Shades of William Wallace ... 06/Nov/07 3:05 AM |  |
Robert the Bruce, Judy, was victorious over the English...they had to go to the loo too before the battle! 06/Nov/07 3:06 AM |  |
ok ok easy girls..if you logically extend the fact that ones dietary preference may go with the genes that one inherits, André and Fiona seems to have similar pattern in their tastes for things other than choccies!!Hi FionaHi André 06/Nov/07 3:07 AM |  |
we will stop now - André can explain what we've been up to! Sorry for taking up so much space but it's been a laugh! 06/Nov/07 3:09 AM |  |

OOO! FIGHT! FIGHT! Do they each get a bow and a quiver full of weiner sticks? (after the potty break, of course!) 06/Nov/07 3:11 AM |  |

 Too funny. I got several good chuckles. 06/Nov/07 3:36 AM |  |
have you noticed André, Vanessa can't spell either? 06/Nov/07 3:38 AM |  |
I've spent very little time in Sudokuland recently. Hope you are all well! We experienced snow like in the picture during October 1981 - October is supposed to be well into summer! Anyway, the whole country almost came to a standstill. We do have snow in certain parts of the country during very cold winters. Cheers all 06/Nov/07 3:38 AM |  |
now you have something else in common. 06/Nov/07 3:39 AM |  |
André my dear, thought I'd be nice and put another Vanessa tube on my page and just to prove my good faith there's a fair bit of Johnny in there too! Say thank you please! 06/Nov/07 3:53 AM |  |

all - getting down to freezing tonight - clear and beautiful high low/mid 60's. Looks as if those in Minnesota & Wisconsin will be dumped on. Let it SNOW SNOW SNOW, as long as it melts in 12 hrs. Natures removal is the best. 06/Nov/07 4:17 AM |  |
This week I'm featuring OLE' TIME TV - to which most of us can relate. Yesterday was an I Love Lucy skit. Current update is RED SKELTON & PETER LORRIE doing a HONEYMOONER SKIT. ENJOY 06/Nov/07 4:18 AM |  |
That's right Joe from NJ. You just keep thinking that it is over a hundred every day of the year. And I will enjoy cool nights, 50-60 and days in the 60-70's for the next 4 months. And then, I will go back to the awful rain and wet of Oregon, while you enjoy your 90 percent humidity during the More... 06/Nov/07 4:35 AM |  |
Judy, we have to keep this quiet!!! Let's see, I need a new avatar for Arizona... ...And one for Oregon, a smilie with an umbrella in the rain. Actually, I shouldn't joke about that as parts of South and Central America are having terrible floods from too much rain. 06/Nov/07 4:40 AM |  |
I have to go back outside to do a couple chores in my shorts and tee shirt...... 06/Nov/07 4:43 AM |  |
Nice day here except for the wind, suppose to get colder tomorrow.Andre / Fiona loved the JD banter. ? have either of you ever seen or heard of 21 Jump Street? 06/Nov/07 4:44 AM |  |
can someone explain why the time goes from 2:28am to 12:01 and first to post has no time?just wondering 06/Nov/07 5:11 AM |  |
Pretty picture, but I am very glad we don't get snow (or ice) here! I grew up with the fluffy white stuff and loved it as a kid. And while I love to ski, I do not mind flying to get to the snow! We did have a lovely fire in the fireplace last night (night time temps in the upper 40s), but "Endless summer" is my motto. 06/Nov/07 5:11 AM |  |
One of the best parts of living here, in my opinion, is being able to play tennis outdoors year-round. Mind you, when I lived in Richmond, I did play some outdoor tennis in the winter when it was 20 degrees (and less!) One of the guys in my foursome used to go out at 7 in the morning to chip the ice off the courts. BRRRRRRRRRRR! 06/Nov/07 5:15 AM |  |
How do you tell a Native Oregonian? . . Webfeet.DUCKS How do you tell a Nubie Oregonian . . They are brown (tanned) & are always building..BEAVERS Yes it rains in Oregon (but, not all of the state). Dave is only telling 1/2 the truth - avg rain fall here is about 20" a year. 06/Nov/07 5:37 AM |  |
Jane:The Richmond in Yorkshire where I was brought up was also COLD, but it was also a very (dropped c) OLD place (the original Roman Richmond), and we used to clear our snow with shovels. All the snow-ploughs had been converted into wartime tanks! 06/Nov/07 5:38 AM |  |
We also used to go 'sticking' in the local woods because we only got one piece of coal per week to keep us warm. 06/Nov/07 5:41 AM |  |
BTW - Eastern Oregon (2/3 of the state) is desert or Mountains. Most of the population is in WET Oregon (where my mom was born and raised). 06/Nov/07 5:46 AM |  |
Good Monday late Maen, all! Fiona & André: LOL--loved the fighting over JD! Only lived 3 years in snow country (Idaho) when going to school there. Okay to walk to and from school, but didn't like to drive in the snow... 06/Nov/07 6:00 AM |  |
Rayray - how interesting! I didn't realize there was another Richmond in England. (Richmond on Thames is Richmond, Virginia's sister city). There are a gazillion towns and cities named "Richmond" in the U.S., but Richmond, Virginia is the largest and, I assume, oldest. 06/Nov/07 6:01 AM |  |
4.32 not bad for an easy, for me. 06/Nov/07 6:01 AM |  |
Hard to think of snow when it is almost 70. Cold ans snow will come soon enough 06/Nov/07 6:15 AM |  |
