How are things in Georgia, Jane? We just had our first school closed for the swine flu - one of the elementary schools. 06/May/09 12:49 AM |  |
How many days 'til retirement, Jamie? 06/May/09 12:49 AM |  |
 Or I didn't put on any deodorant? 06/May/09 12:50 AM |  |

Hope it stays that way, Jane. Last I heard, we had about 300,000 kids out of school in Texas. 06/May/09 12:50 AM |  |
 Do you have a big celebration planned? 06/May/09 12:51 AM |  |
Yay - a first ever for me!! Now MUST get back to school. Back later today. 06/May/09 12:51 AM |  |
...for your retirement, that is. 06/May/09 12:51 AM |  |
...back to my garden for me. 06/May/09 12:52 AM |  |
Whoops - must answer that. No plans yet - too busy finishing school! Each school usually has something for retirees, but I have heard nothing - they are probably just glad I am leaving. 06/May/09 12:52 AM |  |
NOW back to papers and kids. 06/May/09 12:52 AM |  |
Jane, was waiting to see if you would CP all the way to 22. Though Jamie helped you. 06/May/09 12:53 AM |  |
 Jamie--it is a surprise. 06/May/09 12:53 AM |  |
As for school closing, I am surprised your side of Texas is just shutting down. My side has 2 or 3 districts closed and I last heard all sporting events canceled. Though there was a UIL competition. Wonder what Hazels part of Texas is doing. 06/May/09 12:55 AM |  |
Karen - they have canceled ALL athletic and academic competition in the whole state until at least the 11th. We had just avoided any cases until yesterday. One advantage of being sort of isolated in College Station. 06/May/09 12:58 AM |  |
 Happy Tuesday! She's a cutie patootie! 06/May/09 1:03 AM |  |
HI all!! Got you all with yesterday's riddle - the correct answer was 292 - but don't ask me for an explanation please, just trust me. Otherwise go out and buy buttons to check. 06/May/09 1:11 AM |  |
