Yes, the picutre remains me that I do have some yard work that should be done today - I'll see if the sun warms up the yard later today. But there is another Craft Faire that I could do too to look at also.

do others have the same problem as I do - I like to look and think - I can do that - I should do that - Will I do that ? I get lots of ideas at the faires, but time and life seem to stop me in my tracks - well, I do have an extra hour ? maybe I can start something -- but sometimes, the cost of the equipment to do a small project is really not worth it -

Hello everyone!
I'd say Plum's daughter probably had a beautiful day for her wedding yesterday, because it was sunny all day. Congratulations to all!

mymare - I know what you mean. I also go to all the local arts and crafts fairs and think about all the projects I could get involved in. I have a shed full of art and craft supplies that I haven't used since we moved here. In Richmond, I had a studio (with running water, even!), so was very More...

Good morning. We awoke to snow this morning. It is still dark, so I can't see how our maple and aspen trees fared. They still have their leaves, so I'm worried.

Jane, isn't it the truth about retirement being such a busy time??!!

I wish we had DST all year long. I don't like for it to get dark early. It cuts my bike riding short. I do have lights on my bike, and we do have bike trails along the major thoroughfares, but it's still dangerous to bike at night. For one thing, not many other bikers have lights on their bikes, so it's easy to run into them!!

Funny, what you can do in the dark! I didn't turn on the lights. I can see the screen but my keyboard in the dark. I'm really not wasting time here, I'm resetting the clocks around the house. Giggle! Well, when I finish I'm going for a run. See ya later!

Well, Jane, thank heavens, my route is well lit. I don't like running in the full sunlight. Too hot and I have to put on sunscreen. Besides I miss all the crespuscular creatures who wander out then. Like the raccoons, birds, foxes (when we had them), squirrels, and skunks (even them, though I give a wide berth).

Great Maen, great people. It was a wonderful wedding. Smiles and fun. Good company. And it was beautiful. Just the right degree of "casual elegance." I had so many friends help me with kitchen and serving, set up, clean up and hair and bouquets. I didn't even have a camera there More...

Fall Back--Daylight Saving Time Ends

Saxophone Day

Zero Tasking Day

I started celebrating zero tasking day, last night, hence the two hour early to bed. Which had me up at 3 AM, and 6 AM, wide awake, but I refused to get out of bed.
