Kathy, I actually wrote, "He parred the hole." in my earlier comment. But, following your mentor's (Fiona) advice, deleted that sentence before I hit the 'submit comment' box.
He actually did par #1. But he did baddeley (sorry, couldn't resist) the rest of round one finishing (I think) three over par.

RayRay hasn't checked in on the latest quake in Japan. Someone asked about more quakes - I answered that there would probably be more 7's for the next month or so and even possibly a year latter. This 7.1 is normal distribution of aftershocks.

Hal, I would so love to play Quiddich.

Heidi, if you're not too far from Lexington, you can go to the 1st Annual Tri-State Quidditch Tournament this weekend (April 9-10). The contact is Transylvania Quidditch.

Gail: I'm confused. (Not all that unusual, I guess.) I'm talking about the Fripp Island get-together with Kathy, Jane and Keith (and spouses). We (my spouse and I) will be there also.

I am still wondering if there is an axe murder among them.

At the last meet there were a lot of axes but no one claimed to have been murdered.
08/Apr/11 11:50 AM
 |  |

Well, let's see, Karen. Kathy, Jane, and Keith have all been to previous Sudoku get-togethers. And, as far as I know, there have been no previous ax-murders. OMG, that leaves poor, innocent, little ole me.

Not that they admitted, HalT.
Yep, then there is you....hummmm.
08/Apr/11 12:12 PM

Keith seems to be the common denominator........

Had not caught up on that one, Jane.
I am not known for my mystery solving skills.
08/Apr/11 12:43 PM

Geez, Jane. What are you saying? Do I have to be concerned because I'm going to have to be in the same house as some California nut? Or are you saying that to throw me off the track of the true culprit? Like maybe you or Jaime? Or Kathy... are you hinting the she or Rob might be...

You're More...

I am not seeing much sleeping happening at this get-to-gather.
Then again, when the electricity fails, there will be a great game of whodunit.

Another busy day. I've got to get more rest. Until tomorrow...
08/Apr/11 12:56 PM

Oh, what about the no cell phone receptions? And of course it will be a dark stormy night.
08/Apr/11 12:56 PM
 |  |

Well, I wouldn't worry too much about it, Hal, but when you think about it, Keith has attended and - more importantly - SURVIVED more Sudoku meetups than anyone on the site. Does that mean anything? Probably not. Just a little food for thought. Bwaaaa haa haa!!!
08/Apr/11 12:58 PM
 |  |

Oh, oh another thought, what if the axe murder is not one of the people in the cabin?

And because of the storm, all roads are washed out.

As long as Col. Mustard's not invited we should be ok.
08/Apr/11 12:59 PM

Well, I am off to bed. Perchance to sleep....if I'm lucky. Now I've got axe murderers galumphing through my head.... Ta ta, all!

I really do hope you all have a very, relaxable, enjoyable weekend.

Let's see people who might be suspect.
There is Rayray, he has not been around for a couple of days, is he setting up?
Is Judy, really snorkling with her family?
And really, is Captain J flat on his back, being waited on hand and foot?
Is there more than one ax murder?
08/Apr/11 1:05 PM
 |  |

I should be preparing to go to bed too, Jane, but now my mind is wondering and the voices in my head are throwing all the plots at me at once.

Well, I know one thing. I'm going to take my 45's with me to Fripp Island...

And some 33 1/3's... and even some 78's too.

Yes, I actually have some 78's.

Just watched the U. of Michigan hockey team beat North Dakota in the Final Four of NCAA hockey. Rob is very happy with the Wolverine win.

Greg, I know you were disappointed in the basketball Final Four. Did you happen to see this hockey game? I'm not sure if it was televised in Canada? UM will take on Minnesota-Duluth on Sat.

Karen, our get together at Fripp won't be until May 2-4. We'll all have plenty of time to plot our attacks before then! Hal, you may want to bring a flashlight along with your 45's & 78's just in case the power does go out!!

Isn't that record sizes?

And Kathy, sweetie, my brain cell is just getting started. It is totally amazing what comes out of my head.
But then again, I have a head doctor's appointment before then, this maybe the last time anything comes out.

Ray Ray - The Mexico 6.5 quake hit an hour before the 7.1 in Japan. The Japan quake was on the spread of the(West)Pacific Plate. The Mexico quake is at the western base of the No. American plate with the Cocos Plate (a small plate east of the Pacific Plate between the coast of Mexico/Central More...
