all!I was telling hubby about the ''favorite movies'' discussion going on here. He asked what my choices were. He said, ''You didn't list Quigley Down Under''??? You've probably watched it 100 times! You've probably made ME watch it 100 times!''This is true. 08/Jun/18 12:51 AM |  |
Good MAen, good people. We survived Operation Gumby and are embarking on a New Chew Mission. I'm sitting in a corner of the exam room at the dentist office while they fit Burl's choppers. Burl choppers? I wonder if he can say 'How much wood could a wood chuck chuck if a wood chuck could chuck wood' without loosing his dentures? 08/Jun/18 2:00 AM |  |
Evidently the first step is learning to swallow. Talking and eating and further down on the list. 08/Jun/18 2:37 AM |  |
They gave him a perfect toothed smile that 'corrects' his natural underbite. He looks so different. I know it's 'better' but my first reaction is I don't not like them because he doesn't look like my husband now. But I'm not going to tell him that. He is insecure enough. 08/Jun/18 2:41 AM |  |
I suppose if I lost 40 pounds I wouldn't 'look like' his wife but it would be better off in the long run. Kinda like that. 08/Jun/18 2:44 AM |  |
My first cp in several days. Have lots to do when I get home. Take care, all. 08/Jun/18 2:46 AM |  |
The question begs to be asked, Plum. Does Burl kiss better with or without teeth?? 08/Jun/18 2:46 AM |  |
all. Good question Judy! Just back from the doctor's where I had a biopsy taken to send to the dermatologist. Hopefully, he can find out what is causing this rash. 08/Jun/18 3:47 AM |  |

Plum, I know how you are feeling, Bill got new dentures and when he smiled all I could see was his sister's husbands smile. I'm not fond of his brother-in-law. 08/Jun/18 7:13 AM |  |

Here Sue, we call it a pick-around -supper. My eldest turned 50 a month ago. I'm not old enough to have a 50 year old child. 08/Jun/18 10:31 AM |  |
Woke up to rain this morning but it has cleared & now the sky is that beautiful shade of winter blue! 08/Jun/18 11:09 AM |  |
1:58 Grass-hopper, We are supposed to have rain and thunderstorms today but it's beautiful outside right now. I even hung a load of washing out to get dry. 08/Jun/18 12:31 PM |  |
Grass-hopper, makes me happy to see you coming back more than just once or twice. Thx for remembering, Amelia. 08/Jun/18 12:34 PM |  |
Things are very slow at the moment. It has been a miserable day weatherwise but it is warm and comfortable inside. I saw my GP this morning and spent most of the time talking about getting my blood sugar levels back to where they should be. We had to wait an hour and a half to see her despite an appointment. 08/Jun/18 4:25 PM |  |
Now we have arrived at 33, so I'll order a schooner of 150 Lashes thank you.I'll post tomorrows poozle at about 10 am tomorrow. 08/Jun/18 4:28 PM |  |
I wish we had some of Grass-hoppers sunshine , it didn't rain but cloud cover made for a dreary day. 08/Jun/18 7:40 PM |  |
