I think the site has been abandoned. A ghost town.

Hurrah, Fi has sent us a word puzzle. My day is made!

Well, was hoping either Sue or Katitude had posted by now to tell us how their evening in OKC transpired. Wish I'd felt like going -- the air is wretched at present. Or am I?

Thanks GMo - for the really good jokes last couple of days and for the poems. I loved the two raunchy jokes (ones about 'the deer hunt' and 'credit card swipe') and the poem about the crabby old man was moving. I am 'snowed under' with tasks right now - and, it is so cold here, we are almost 'snowed under' literally too.

Sudokuland, hope you are all well.

Hello Rayray, how is your back?
09/Jun/09 5:43 PM

Gail: I shall start getting worried when you do the puzzle in negative time - i.e. when you complete it before you start. That will be disturbing as it might indicate some kind of Universe time-quake going on. The Universe is here today - but don't automatically assume it will be here tomorrow.

Broni. Thanx for enquiring. The back is much better just now. I'll send you an EM about it to explain in more detail, but for now, it was a severe colon spasm pressuring weak verebral discs - I think. It was TERRRRRRIBLE for about three days. No lying down. No sitting down - only walking about all night - gingerly.

Now I have posted, I hope Sudokuland doesn't go on a coffee break for a couple of hours. You may continue posting (he posted - jokingly??!!)

Well you sound more chipper now, cannot imagine what that must have been like...apart from painfull.
Yes GMo was in fine form today.

Ray, I had to go back and do it again because after looking at my time, I can't remember it being that quick! Second time was a bit slower but still close. Never fear, no parallel universes or anything happening today.

Looks like you are having a coffee break Rayray, catch you later.

I'm out there on the péripherique Rayray. Multi tasking as usual - still waiting for builders playing scrabble on line dodging showers in the garden and putting on an extra layer of clothing. It has gone from in 30°C last week to 16/18 this week

I've eventually made my move Gail I'm playing one week long game and 2 24 hour games

Talk about rain, it is bucketting down here at the moment. I drove into the city today and it has been very wet all day. I am not really grumbling, not really, but am I allowed to say I am over the wet and cold already, and winter only just started!

BTW Sorry about that abysmal first move Mo *hangs head in shame*

It' so early in the game Gail I have seen a lot worse. I have been for a quick hoe in the rose bed

Gail, it seems you may be in for worse tomorrow - perhaps a little snow? I have vowed not to complain about the rain, as we've waited so long for some decent falls, but the grey skies can be very depressing.

Reading your last post - I would quite like to have abysmal across a triple word score!

Today I will publish my time 2.20 this, I realise is slow by many standards but for me that is good. My ideal when doing sudoku either here or on paper is to never write in possibilities and to try and remember what could go where.

Thanks Judy! Better look up the BOM site then, and batten down the hatches.
I know they had good falls on the snow fields this Queen's Birthday weekend, the official start to the ski season.
My oldest daughter just got home and said it was very white in Clematis, a town about 15 mins from here.

What a pretty name for a town
09/Jun/09 9:19 PM

It's one of those 'don't blink or you'll miss it' type of places. More of a junction point for two main roads rather than a town, although they DO have a pub, which we don't have!

Hi all, I've finally made it on line. I had a lovely meet with Amelia and her hubby on Sunday afternoon and will catch up again before I leave for home.
It's quite chilly here and getting colder tomorrow. A bit too cold for us Queenslanders!#1 son, who's a bit of a cold frog, is arriving on Thursday evening. We've told him to bring all his winter woolies.
