I love boardwalks out in the middle of nowhere! Besides making walking easier, they protect sensitive environment.

I was going very slow also, and then got a phone call and I was back in a flash, and my puzzle cancelled itself. boo hoo

What kind of grass is that? It looks like an ornamental we use, suitable for hot and dry area. I hope to someday visit Tasmania, along with the rest of Australia and New Zealand. My husband is supposed to go work in Brisbane for a while, but we have to wait until the flooding improves.

Aside from the distinctive birds and other animals unique to Australia, flowers and trees that we don't have in the US, and more typical things of interest, one of the most fascinating things to me when I was in Australia was just the grass! It's so odd to think such a "just there" thing More...
