 Long and straight road. 11/Aug/18 5:41 AM |  |
Wherever it is, they drive on the left! 😊 It's not North America anyway. 11/Aug/18 6:25 AM |  |
3:18. Hi everyone. That bit of highway looks quite familiar, I'm guessing heading North on the Hume Highway between Canberra and Sydney. 11/Aug/18 6:40 AM |  |
AllLovely weather for long drive with green surroundings 11/Aug/18 7:18 AM |  |
2:59. Whooo Hooo. 1st time ever faster than Chris. Were you doing the puzzle while you packed? 11/Aug/18 7:53 AM |  |
Hi all 3:33 have a good run Chris and enjoy the view 11/Aug/18 8:51 AM |  |
Are you all missing what I see? An overpass has fallen down and is dangling over the road! A car can barely get through using the shoulder and what is accessible on the road. 11/Aug/18 10:36 AM |  |
 3:59 Good morning one and all! 11/Aug/18 10:45 AM |  |
 No, just shadows, Sarah. 11/Aug/18 11:36 AM |  |
Do today's puzzle as a jigsaw and you can see it more clearly, Sarah. It appears to be a two lane highway with a vehicle on either side. 11/Aug/18 12:37 PM |  |
 Why not? Number 13!! 11/Aug/18 12:37 PM |  |
 I agree with Anne. 11/Aug/18 1:04 PM |  |
I seem to remember quite a few road trip photo's! Was it Kate? 11/Aug/18 1:08 PM |  |
Nope, I just did the jigsaw and it is just as clear to me that the lane of travel away from us, toward the back/top of the photo, is blocked by a huge hunk of concrete, slanting from its support on the left to the ground on the right. The oncoming car can make it through the opening. 11/Aug/18 1:32 PM |  |
What's so odd about what I see is that I originally became a member, back in the olden days, in order to make a comment to explain the optical illusion of a photo that day. In that one, I was the one who figured out the illusion. Today I appear to be the one who has a delusion! 11/Aug/18 1:34 PM |  |
But, guys, what are those shadows the shadows OF? The only thing than can be producing those shadows is something going over the road, and I swear that something, the overpass, has fallen so that the right side is down on the ground. 11/Aug/18 1:35 PM |  |
Oh, perhaps the oncoming car is actually a car in the distance, going the same direction, if these two lanes are one side of a highway and both lanes are going the same way. But no matter what, I see an obstruction in the right lane, the fallen overpass. 11/Aug/18 2:17 PM |  |
I think perhaps it had been raining and it had been a puddle which had dried out and left dirt on the road. 11/Aug/18 3:16 PM |  |
 Shadows of the trees. 11/Aug/18 3:42 PM |  |
Since Keith won't be here, probably, I'll take it for him. 11/Aug/18 3:44 PM |  |
I initially thought that, DOA, and it probably could be. 11/Aug/18 3:44 PM |  |
I was thinking it might be a telephone tower, to be tall enough to throw such a long shadow. 12/Aug/18 12:57 PM |  |
