They all have an interesting expression on their faces, like they are watching something.

When they first discovered these they said that each of the men had a different face, but they hadn't finished the dig yet.

This is a most fascinating place to visit.There are hundreds of these soldiers already excavated. They have been damaged and these ones have been repaired. All have individual expressions. I suggest you google and read about them as they are quite fascinating. (Not my photo)

Good afternoon to all! More likely the war of suppression and isolation HalT, but they are an incredible human accomplishment in their construction.

When we saw these Terra Cotta soldiers (and horses,etc)in Xian, the farmer that discovered them signed a picture of them for me. He didn't speak any English, but had such a wonderful smile! He's an elderly man and this is how he makes a living now.

I wonder if they made clay masks of real people for these?

Kathy, I bought the book and had it signed. But for all we know it could have been any old Chinese man that they had signing the book!!!
Can you be sure they have the same old man sitting there all day every day signing books.
