5:02 I think we've had this before but maybe on jigsaws. I think it's lichen and may be Ian's photo.

Ah, should I repeat my groaner of a joke?

Ok, here it goes for those of you who missed it last time:
Alice Algea and Fred Fungi took a lichen....
but their relationship was on the rocks!!

As Ian pointed out, it's "terri"ble, I know, but it's the only thing I remember from my college geology class!

Terri, a good giggle--not a groaner at all! (Aren't I a good audience?) I'm having trouble with the photos today--these grainy pictures make me wonder if I'm getting cataracts!

maen all! i thought it was microbes taken through a microscope. yo,yon! what's the matter with being a crossword and sudoku freak as well. i certainly find time for them both, especially on rainy days like today.

I believe it's Gail's photo. I love these for the "hard" jigsaw!

I agree with deltz - nothing wrong with crosswords, kokuro, sudoku - play them all! It is just this site is so neat.

It is a photo of lichen on a rock that I took some time ago with mischief in mind. I realised it would make a good subject for a 'Hard' jigsaw. I'm sure it has been on before, but a fair while ago. My research hasn't taken me back far enough in time yet.

Terri - groan! That doesn't leave mush room for comment.

Terri - you are such a fun guy (fungi...)
16/Nov/07 6:32 AM

3:03. I won't torture myself with the jigsaw, Ian - looks too hard!
16/Nov/07 6:52 AM
 |  |

Aw, go on Martha, give it a go. It's not that hard really.

Did everyone miss my mushroom comment?
16/Nov/07 7:24 AM

No Ian, didn't miss it, just groaning too much to comment!

5:12 today.

Good afternoon to all! We have seen this before Ian, and it is an interesting subject matter to photograph. Terri, you said it all! I think that relationship is rather rocky!

Terri - obviously you should have paid more attention I'm sure there was more to learn than bad jokes!
Ian - the mush room was almost as bad.
16/Nov/07 9:58 AM

Sorry, Ian! I gave credit for the photo to Gail. She has some photos "lichen" this one.
Sorry again...
16/Nov/07 11:04 AM

Kathy, no problems - but I think your 'lichens' comment was nearly as bad as mine.
To everyone else - sorry.

I'm lichen these comments more and more, let's make mush room and keep em omin'.

Just thought I'd combine the two and get a really, really bad statement out of the whole thing. (he,he,he)

Ian, you surely did have mischief in mind with this one!! As a hard jigsaw it was diabolical!!
16/Nov/07 1:33 PM
 |  |

5:08 Some might think I'm a bit of a masochist (having 4 children and all) but I draw the line at doing that photo as a hard jigsaw!

Cyndi, that's just terrible.

Rose, see my earlier comment to Martha/Saratoga.
