Is that miner's lamp as big as it looks?
How did they get it in the mines?

Gorgeous sunny day here, with a slight breeze. Gardened all weekend and the place is starting to look habitable. We were just about to enjoy our efforts on the patio with a plank-grilled salmon and some wine when the rain came last evening. Grabbed the fish, the wine and headed indoors--nothing spoils our fun.

It looks like a gigantic building in the back ground instead of a lamp in the foreground - cool!

maen all! a tourist trap from an old mining town like the ones all over the states with played-out mines. the one near here in franklin, as in franklinite, is cool because they give you a black light and the seams of franklinite glow enough so that you can find your way around.

Deltz was saying about Franklinite. I looked it up on Wikapaedia, found out what it looks like and where it comes from, but I'm wondering what use it is.
