The monarch should be showing up in my garden pretty soon after the long winter.

maen all! i've been fortunate enough to be in the guadalajara area of mexico in the winter where nearly all monarchs winter. they aren't very active so the forests look rusty orange from the millions of them lolling around.

Good to see a butterfly. There won't be many left around my place after the cold snap we are having this week. Family down south tell me they had their first snow yesterday! It's only Autumn!

Yes Grasshopper, they were predicting snow on the highlands over the weekend, and it certainly feels cold enough here!! Roll on Spring, and the butterflies!
