Looks like a western grebe holding a fish in its beak, but I certainly could be mistaken. mAen all! We finally have a warmish day here - looks like it'll put a dent in the snow pile at the end of our driveway!

I think the white pattern marks this bird as Western Grebe, Aechmophorus occidentalis.
