4:44 Hi everyone and nite nite...be good while I'm in the land of nod. QRP - take it easy, especially when dishing out punishments, Songs of Praise was really very hard for a first time offence...

7.21, A slow, lazy Sunday afternoon.
 |  |
Good morning Andre from England and all sudoku fiends - I meant friends! (Sunday morn 10/23)
Battened down and waiting. We (hubby) boarded up this am. (Sunday) before going for a racquetball game. I'm in charge of the food and booze - plenty water, plenty food, both for humans and pets; Bacardi Gold and Seagram's (hubby does not drink so I'm ALL set)
 |  |
5:20 Slipped over the 5 mark... must have been to balance my easy time today...
 |  |
Started with the tough and am getting progressively worse! 7.43 - maybe it is that Sunday afternoon feeling!

Nal good afternoon here, I'm glad your a girl after my own heart have one on me (charge it to Ted or QRP(songs of praise on soon! billy i agree strong punishment!)
take care seriously and be safe x
Its quite frightening when you are talking to someone and you know that this is going to happen. x
 |  |
5:25 pretty pleased considering... Nal my thoughts are with you. stay safe.
 |  |
Thanks andré. The worse is when the wind and rain are going at their strongest and you don't know how much longer it will go on. That's where the praying, and Bacardi, come at hand.

I'm still planning to attend a wedding (bikini optional), charge it to Ted, and spend sometime in the villa. NO In-Laws Lisa!
 |  |
QRP is already drinking, in sympathy with you Nal.
Andre - a prize for the first person to spot your most recent aberration. I consider Songs of Praise a mild punishment, considering the seriousness of your offences. Oh God, it's just starting... where's the remote? Yuk, darts on BBC2.
For More...
 |  |
... obviously, I meant non-UK residents. Even the best QRPs can't always type.
 |  |
sounds like Hymn Sing which (QRP, forgive my grammar should I say that?) the CBC had the good sense? to cancel in 1995 after a 30 year run.. (couldn’t have been on their radar screen for a budget cut). Was truly a joy & delight for kids to watch on Sunday PM visits with assorted older relatives... that and Tiny Talent Time..
 |  |
QRP - me me me! I claim the prize! Assuming YOU'RE serious!
 |  |
5:50
 |  |
Yes, HH. You win. Your prize is never to have to watch Songs of Praise for the rest of your life.
You may need to print this off to use as proof of exemption when visiting elderly maiden aunts.
 |  |
Hurrah! and thank you, ma'am!
 |  |
You're very welcome, HH. I believe this was a prize worth winning.
 |  |
5:17 Going to take a nap, was up too late last night and got up early for church. See you all later
 |  |
Witness, Sudokuers, the immense rewards for being correct in your grammar.
Not only am I queen, I am also your fairy godmother, who can rid you all of tiresome chores and tv programmes. All you have to do is pay attention to your punctuation.

9:04 ack!

Anyone else beginning to enjoy the chat as much as the puzzles?
And does anyone know if Tampa Bay is likely to be affected by Wilma? I can't get hold of my friend there.
 |  |
Nice fireworks. Makes me think of 4th of July. Hot sunny days and family gatherings. It's cold here today and cloudy. Good rest day.
 |  |
Fireworks what fireworks??.........Oh, those fireworks....really must remember to do the puuzzle BEFORE reading all the chat! Good day/evening to all and a 'x' for anyone who needs one! ;-)

Hey Queenie,id rather watch a beer bellied giant with half the content of their glass mingled with
this mornings fried breakfast all over their shirts throwing minature spears at a board than lots of oldies on hells doorstep begging for repentance. Please could you fix my grammatical mistakes.
 |  |
Dave - how about this?
'Dear Queenie,
I’d rather watch a beer-bellied giant, with half the content of his glass and this morning’s fried breakfast all over his shirt, throwing minature spears at a board, than a lot of oldies on hell’s doorstep begging for repentance. Please could you correct my grammatical mistakes?'
(Actually, you didn't do that badly.)

4:26, first time my score wasnt too embarassing to post it
 |  |

 |  |
6:09 Kate,i must decline your offer for i simply don't wear dresses{honest}.I do occasionally dress up as the panto horse{rear end},i have been known to prefer purple to pink lipstick but i never never wear womens clothes, well not while watching songs of praise anyway!
Anyone in Wilma's way,my thoughts are with you.
QRP time to get that red pen out.
