Lovely wild flower. I have never seen them in a flower garden.. you have to buy seeds or plants to have lovely flowers in your garden. I usually see these on old fence lines.

I think it is bindweed as Famia points out.
Yes. It is very pesky as it has deep stolons that do not like being pulled out of the ground; the slightest bit of which can regenerate into more plants.

It is definitely wild here in Dunedin, it is trying to take over my garden, the peskiest thing growing in it as it smothers everything else I haven't found anything that will kill it.
