Just came back from a trip to New Orleans. What a beautiful city in spite of the devastation! Parks have been replanted by volunteers. Downtown is still beautiful. Very little damage to the buildings there. Residential area is working hard to recover. I would encourage anyone in the area to visit. It is still great.

What a great idea for my students near the end of school when they don't want to do much anyways. As a math teacher, I can have them find the area of one disc as well as the area of the item they make.
