Happy Halloween all! Nice orchids, Kate! I did a bit of weeding yesterday afternoon since we had a 70 degree day (warm!) and I figured it to be my last chance! Today was c-c-cold and windy. Here in Ohio they do unusual things such as decide to trick-or-treat on a Thursday night instead More...

Hi all, beautiful flowers Kate. Would have been on here earlier but for the willy-willy just lifted some tiles off our roof, just our place no one else in the street, very weird.

It was a dark and stormy night. There was a full moon, only you couldn't see it because it was a dark and stormy night.

On the lane, a sole figure moved slowly but without fear, for he knew the path that he was taking.

He held a single candle in his hand, only it wasn't lit because it was a dark and stormy night. If he had been able to light it, it would have just been a stormy night.

1.55 I am a little confused about the time jump.

Everyone has a different side to the coin, unless I am missing something. All opinions are valuable, and each is entitled to give their own thoughts. A personal attack on someone is not necessary and not called for surely?

There is a saying; "It is absurd to divide people into good and bad. People are either charming or tedious."

Glinda that was charming. Thank you.

The man proceeded slowly along the lane. He had long ago given up on avoiding the many puddles and ruts that pocked the road, but he simply moved steadily on.

Thank you, Gen. How's the weather there? It's dark and stormy here.

As we say here Glinda, we have warm rain in Autumn. That goes for every season.

Does your man want a light off stars? We have plenty of those.

I just dropped in to say goodnight to everyone.
I have been working on a poem and an article all day and haven't had time to look in before now (here 2.15am).
There were 'trick or treaters' around but they didn't find my place - the entrance is a little obscure, and that sometimes presents advantages.

In his inside pocket, the man carried a bit of bread and some cheese he had saved. It was good cheese, a nice stilton.

Hope I'm not too late to wish you all a Happy Hallows Eve day.

He was saving his meager meal for later, for a time when he might stop under the branches of a large tree, and perhaps rest for a bit. But there was only shrubbery along the path where he walked, and so he soldiered on. "Boy, he thought, I'd really like some of that cheese."

Is hang strings of garlic
high over your head,
So werewolves and vampires

Where's Ian been. Don't tell me he actually sleeps.
Spouse is at Leonardo Da Vinci Airport readying for her flight home. Has had a great time. Loved Ventimiglia which was only on the itinerary as that's were the Italian trains finish. Apparently a town with a history that extends well into BC.
