Yes, the "zed" wreaks havoc with the rhyme in the ABC song, Judy, but then again, you wouldn't want to hear me sing it anyway (or any other song, for that matter). Generally, for the purposes of getting the song correct, most Canadians employ poetic license and pronounce "z" as "zee", but with great consternation!

I just checked with the online Webster's Dictionary, CG, and "aitch" is from the French and from "Vulgar Latin." Yikes! Maybe that goes along with you using the "B" word!

Corrolary to the "Law of Dirty Rugs/Carpets":
7 times out of 10, a slice of bread covered on one side with grape jam will land jam side up on an easy to clean hardwood floor.
