Then someone told me the moon was made of blue-cheese. I don't go along with that theory because the moon would be blue in that case and it only blue once in a blue moon, which is not very often.

Funny... I always thought the Man in the Moon was the pastor at my church when I was very young. Makes no sense whatsoever, but that is what I thought!

Thanks, Kathy! We'll keep our fingers crossed for the next game!

Sheila: Thanks for turning the page. I am bogged-off with page-turning from checking out my 223-page script. Could you also please set the alarm to waken the sun in the morning? I have told the local fowl to crow as a reminder to him. But they are a bit lazy and unreliable and it would be terrible if he forgot to wake up, because then it would be dark during the day as well as the night.

Don't worry RayRay... I believed in Santa Clause for a LONG time, because I had actually seen him go down our chimney late one Christmas Eve!! I had heard a noise outside on the roof, looked out and saw a large shape lowering itself down the chimney. I waited a bit, snuck More...

Heidi: I don't think Santa Clause would take too kindly to be called 'a big raccoon'. Good anecdote but ---

Can commiserate with you having the severe cold Rayray.
I am nearly into the fourth week of having one and its awful, I am looking forward to the day I stop coughing.
I have read some of your poems and now know why the others think so highly of you !!
Rest, rest and more rest.

I'll wish good rest-of-night to everyone (it is 4am here) and try to sleep again. Trouble is I keep waking myself with my own sneezing; in addition to the insomnia from the sun's snoring and the bleating from sheeps' bad dreams.

GET WELL SOON, ELISE & RAYRAY!!!
Elise, I am so sorry to hear you still have your cold!
Sweet dreams, rayray... May you sleep peaceably the rest of the night.

Rayray, I really like your explanation of day & night, thank you. At the moment that crow is waking up later & later so consequently the sun is also rising later, but it is also going to bed much earlier, so the moon is working much harder. It must be very difficult for the moon because, as More...

Some Improvements in Hell

An engineer died and ended up in Hell. Soon, he became dissatisfied with the level of comfort in Hell, and began designing and building improvements. After a while, they had flush toilets, air conditioning, escalators. The engineer was a pretty popular guy.

Kate: Thanks for your explanation of when the moon is blue. I suppose, if it visits while full (= in a totally boozed up condition), twice in one month, it has time to get loaded up with blue cheese from the local supers. I understand that that gorgon, Zola, has a pad on the moon.

Yes, found the energy to log on here after getting home. But Mr P is running a virus scan on the pooter, so I think it's the pooter having trouble finding enough energy to run things, it's very slow.
