Hillary Clinton goes to a primary school in New York to talk about the world.

After her talk she offers question time. One little boy puts up his hand, and the Senator asks him what his name is.

"Kenneth."

"And what is your question, Kenneth?"

Back from Interveiws..
Not impressed with the whole way it was run, needs a total re vamp in the way it was organised.
The usual, more revision, ask more questions, and a couple still have outstanding homework due. Overall I'm happy to say the girls are doing well. All are meeting current More...

I urgently needed a few days off work, but I knew the Boss would not allow me to take leave. I thought that maybe if I acted 'CRAZY' then he would tell me to take a few days off.

So I hung upside down on the ceiling and made funny noises. My co-worker (who's blonde) asked me what I was More...

Maen all! How your "summary of life" is true Eve! I can check every part of it every day, being in my fifties, with 3 children aged 34,31 and 27 and 2 grandchildren, and parents who are over 80 now!

2:01, possibly the most unappetising pizza I've seen!

Chris I bet whoever baked and photographed that pizza was probably very proud of it at the time.

I took the horses out of the yard around 2.30. They had finally stopped eating and were standing there just looking at the house. Around 4 I had to go out to the pantec to get a camp mattress for d2, the dogs followed me so I left the gate open. I turned around and saw both dogs pelting back More...

Okay, I seem to have confused everyone now. Kate/Sydney and Maureen/Dubbo are sisters. Their parents are having their 57th anniversary today. Maureen and Hubby are not having an anniversary today

Hi Lynda, undoubtedly so. Maybe its just because I'm on a rather strict diet at the moment and most food, especially fatty food, looks unappetising to me.

been and done the parent teacher interviews today also. even had to go back after dinner for the last one to make sure all the information was gathered.
our boys are in year 8 and 10 and doing very well. they both have had issues with putting work in on time but slowly it is getting better. their behaviour in class is always terrific which is a credit to them both.

I think I might have a 'parent teacher interview' very very soon!

Son's teacher was given a VERY important letter to get son to bring home to me at the start of the holidays (3 weeks ago)..and his teacher gave it to him............TODAY!

Rose, I had to send hubby off this evening to finalise seeing one teacher for each child. I have one very sooooooo not happy hubby at the moment. Not because of what he was told, but more due to the lack of no organisation of these interviews.

It would be interesting to know how "your child's" school runs or organise Parent Teacher Interviews. Are you happy with the way they are organised? If so why, if not how would you imporove this?

parent teacher interviews are something that just has to be dealt with. it is never an easy job to be done by either the parents or the teacher.
there is a need to just have a time limit for each interview so that everyone moves through in an orderly fashion. I think the problem arises when More...

I certainly agree with you there Rose, Parent Teacher Interviews are important and should be just that, and not a social gathering.
I appreciate the work that is involved by the teachers.

When Rob tried teaching for one year at King High School, he had mostly very poor students in his science classes. The school sent notices for parent-teacher conferences home with the kids - not a wise plan. How many of those requests do you think the parents ever saw? Rob had only about 4 sets More...

the day has turned for me here and I have caught up to the site's day, I'm off to bowling so I'm in limbo right now. My husband won his daily lottery this morning and has shared the wealth with me, I'm to put my $1 into my bowling team's "pot" so maybe I can add that $30 possible win to our winnings of $40 I'll keep my day job for now.
