Shikia got the results of her bi-annual scans today. Nothing has changed which is the best news.

If there is no change after the next scan, which is in about six months, she will go on to twelve month scans.

Hi Peter..good news abt Shikia.May the results be favorable to her, not to have any further scans.
Well the total trekking took nearly 4 hrs.in two different direction. The first being 2 hrs abt, 500 meters high, of which some 300 meters is purely rock climbing with no fixed path as such. The other half is also a bit tough as the path was slopy with a sharp gradient and no side support.

Had to come to work to get pooter time uninterrupted! MEN - they are so pathetic when they're sick!

I saw this duck (or a similar one) about 3 weeks ago at the same place. Last time it was with a group of ducks - this time it was with a group of geese. - the ducks were closer to the river. Jeb wanted a picture of it, tried to get one the next day, last time I saw it. Was lucky enough some one was there and kind enough to take and email the photos.

Appy - the hats have holes in them for the Mule's ears to fit through. You mean you haven't seen a mule with a large straw hat. They often are even decorated with flowery fabric & dry flowers.
