Hi Anne! Tonight we begin Daylight Savings Time. I'm not sure why. Many states are deciding to stay on DST all year so I mdon't know what will happen in the future. I do know lots of people are sleeping in Australia since an hour has passed.

We here in West Oz and Queensland don't bother with daylight savings, thank goodness.

Hello everyone - time changes don't affect me especially now that all the electronics change the timing devices rather automatically; I always considered that the most annoying part of DST!

Solve this puzzle for the most gorgeous photo of Autumn Leaf color - do it 1->9 ignoring a delay with 6, then it's zippy!

I thought I recognised the photo. I took it on the way home from a conference in Ottawa in 2008. I like the time changes, which don't bother me at all. I live far enough north that dawn would come at about 3:30 in the morning in midsummer if we stayed on standard time. In winter it would be dark until 9:30 AM.

Ah, yes, the old adage - spring forward and fall back! Don't know if I'm ready for the change but what the hey.

all, The time changes really don't bother me either Bev. Our winters seem so much brighter when we switch back, and I enjoy having daylight until 9:00ish in the summer. Gorgeous photo! Our driveway is lined with maples which are spectacular in the fall. Must remember to post a photo when we return home.

Good mAen, good people. A busy weekend getting ready to go out of state. Not only do those of us who are going need to pack an extraordinary amount of things, but I must prepare ahead for those who are staying behind.

I've sent my 1&4 answers to Wombat. I've solved according to Joyce's recommendation to discover Bev's beautiful Canadian red mapleleaf.

cp. If I had a plummy tea cup avatar, I'd use it now, as I need a bit of a pick me up. Then I'll do my physical therapy exercises at home and start the laundry I need to do next. TTFN.
