Seems its going to be a slow night at work so will have time to at least start 16x16, a challenge for little old me, but one I am more than happy to tackle.

Finally getting settled in at home in Oaxaca after three weeks with my 101 year old Mom in Michigan. She was hospitalized for awhile & is home with my sister again now. Wish I could be in 2 places at once - my elderly husband needs me here too. Have to catch up on my puzzles which I didn't do up north.

We call those little furry things in the photo 'bannacles' because they cling to the sides of our bird feeders like barnacles! We have a little red squirrel named 'Barnacle Bill' and a blonder version named 'Barnacle Betty'!

Not meant to spell barnacle with two 'n's' and no 'r'....

Thank you all for your wonderful good thoughts, they are appreciated, but I am fine and so is my family. It hurts to be loosing another family member and waiting for another one, but I have wonderful memories, and secure in my relationships with them. Sure, I would rather have them here with me, but that is beyond my control. I can only hope they are at peace with their world and not in any pain.

Good thoughts, Karen.

It's raining like a son of a gun here, and I've awakened with a beastly cold. Nuts. Would love to grab a pot of tea and climb back into bed but I'm not sure I want the contractors seeing me in my pajamas ... so I'll push on, trooper that I am!

Frustrating, isn't it, Cathy! At least grab the pot of tea and find a quiet (?) corner!
