G'day mates. Here's today's daffynition:
locomotive — Insanity plea.

...and here's today's factoid:
The heaviest train in the world was a freight train in Australia in 2001. It was 7.3km (4.6 miles) long and weighed 95,000 tonnes. That is as heavy as 2.8 million ten-year-olds or more than 27,000 elephants!

Keith & Hal - amazing timing this morning! How did you manage to pull off that sequence?

Hal - inquiring minds (and ''Sticky Beaks''!) want to know: did you meet Barbara while she was attending Baylor or were you already married when you were stationed in Waco?

Looked through a big file of pictures from Jim from Jupiter on Facebook yesterday, all pictures of pieces of plastic he's found on the beach near him. He's on a constant campaign to rid our oceans of plastic, a never ending task ... it kills the wildlife. I see no plastic on this beautiful beach. I wonder how many years ago this picture was taken.

I have an appointment this morning, so quickly......

A potato's key tool, I have all the power.
I am generally used on the half or full hour.
If my cells were deceased or lost or the such,
My partner would only respond to your touch.

What am I?

Plans for a morning walk are spoiled by rain, and more rain. Bathroom drawers are cleared out, pictures off the hallway walls, rugs rolled up ... we're getting ready--two days until chaos reigns. Cats seem to be adjusting well to changed surroundings ...

Cathy, sounds like you have done the prep for your bath redo. Let the demolition begin.

Start of the second week here, only have the electricions and contractor here today. Less noise than we had last week which is good.

Your spring break is early! Ours won't be for another two weeks! Hubby and I decided that we're going for a road trip with grandie in tow! Just up the coast and back. I told hubby don't plan on a long trip because a six year old won't tolerate a long car ride!
