It's a huge thing around here to go rummage saling, is it popular in different parts of this country and do other countries do this too? I have been wondering...

Angie- In all the western states i've lived in, rummage sale'ing and garage sale'ing, as well as thrift shopping is pretty big. Maybe it's just the people.
However, I do have to say that I think there is more of it in UT, than in OR.
I'm also curious to know if anyone else does the thriftshopping, in other countries :)

Garage sales are big in Aus. Have had four in my time. A great idea just before moving, 'if you can't sell it and don't want to pack it, donate it' has always been my motto. Saturday mornings are the best times I think, and there are many people who go out each Sat going from one sale to another.
