My BIL who is currently teaching in China always has a fresh wholemeal crust of bread with vegemite and a glass of milk as soon as he arrives home on holidays.
He always takes vegemite back to China with him but occasionally runs out in the six months he is away.

Billy - We won, surprise, surprise! First time in many years and with a depleted side. We have to win the rest of our matches to make the finals. This includes your lot and a trip to South Africa - not hopeful!

I can't believe you let the Waratahs win, anybody but the bl**dy Waratahs - ptui!

Tried vegimite once and disliked it, it was served at High Tea ($35.00 per person). No cucumber sandwiches and no salmon, all in all dreadful.

The only teas they had were Lipton's and Earl Grey. I have those at home and hoped for something better.

Hey everyone! Thanks for all of the helpful hints on vegemite! I put it on dry bread today and I see that was my first mistake. I will try again. We were surprised to see it is made by Kraft Foods. (My dad read that on the tube.) We are wondering if maybe it is sold here in the US by a More...

YEA, Peter, how much later? I am sure I know the answer to one, and think I do to a couple of others, but most of those stumped me. I am sure I will go "Ahhhhhh now I see", once the answers are revealed.

EVE, I really think the pear is grown inside the bottle. I saw photos of that one time, a bottle was turned upside down over a bud, and left for the pear to grow inside.

Now what I want to know is, how are we going to get that pear OUR of the bottle. After sitting for years in that bottle of brandy, it would be good eating I am thinking!
