Everyone knows that all potatoes have eyes . . .
Well, Mr. and Mrs. Potato had eyes for each other. They finally got married and had a little one, a real Sweet Potato whom they called "Yam." They wanted the best for little Yam, telling her all about the facts of life. They warned her More...

Kathy - please send some crabs this way. I just used up the last of the crabmeat from the freezer. The crabs haven't moved from the rivers into the ocean here yet, so we won't be catching them for a few more weeks. When they are here, we usually catch about 4 or 5 dozen in an afternoon. Can't wait!!!

Morning all!
Linda, I loved the Physician. Great book. It has been long enough since I read it the first time that I could probably read it again.

Karen, I chose June 29th, but can't remember if I posted it. That's d2s birthday.

I've been tagged again so thought I'd try to think up 5 different things...

Ok, riddle time - answers to the blushing inbox please!
When you were in your early school years, you can remember when you had a CRUSH on that cute girl sitting nearby. The only problem comes when you say something stupid and she SLAPS your face. Try to get from CRUSH to SLAPS in 5 steps by making a word each time.

Suzy - I think maybe you might be the one who recommended The Physician to me a couple of years ago on this Sudoku site. Someone from Oz recommended it in a discussion of favorite books. I bought it and put it in my unread book library and am finally reading it! I"m really enjoying it.

Hi, Fiona! Assuming you are allowed to switch the letters around anyway you want but only change one letter each time, I have done the puzzle in 4 steps. I am posting my answer in your inbox. Ciao! Jane

I've just finished watching a programme about sustainable fishing in the South Pacific. Sobering watching. Suzy, I wasn't trying to get "expert" opinion, just how different people view the matter.

For example, we have somewhat the same history and legacy with Amerindians, but there is one big difference. Amerindians look enough like "us" that any who choose to assimilate More...
