Does anybody know how long it takes for YouTube links to get included on your page? My guess it that it's like avatars... I'm good with that, I just don't have any inkling.

Silvergal, under Forum, under Off Topic, look for 'Beehive's How To Post A Video Instructions - Serena' That method worked for me before Gath was having trouble with the site and did some fixes. It might still get the job done for you, if you're still having trouble.

Greg - it's 5 Prime Ministers in 5 years. The new one will find it tough if his predecessor hangs around. I can't see Abbott going quietly. I prefer the new one, but I'll be happier if he gets rid some of the thought bubble policies of the other.

Indeed Sacky! Malcolm Turnbull should have been PM and leader from the start.

As far as I can see almost all Aussies are glad that Abbott has gone. I suspect that a lot of the 44 who voted for him did so because they knew they would lose their jobs if Turnbull got in.

Keith, the news tonight indicated that the fires were getting closer to your part of California. Are you in any danger?

Wombat, so now, do their fears come true? (The 44 who voted for Abbott.)

KEITH! THANKS! Your forum lead helped immensely. I had the Http: but there were some other things missing which apparently made the difference. Link to the GS Sing Together video is on my page.

Hal, I don't think Turnbull will be vindictive against the Abbott supporters in his party. He needs everyone on side to make this work. Some of Abbott's more ardent disciples may lose their portfolios. I was really disheartened to find out that every Tasmanian Liberal pollie, hitched themselves to Abbott's wagon.

Hal, I agree with Sacky, Turnbull has to mend bridges, but there are some ministers very closely aligned to some of Abbott's more unpopular policies whom Turnbull will cut loose to show he means to ditch those policies and the polemics behind them. He will also be keen to appoint more women ministers.

Keith, I too worry about your proximity to the fires when I see them on the television. I hope you and yours are safe.

Good morning all from cloudy Perth. A talkative day in Sudokuland! Silvergal posts a very well reviewed video. Keith and Sosho have fun gallumping and wheeing. And another Aussie Prime minister bites the dust to the relief of the majority of all in Sudokuland. Have a great day ALL

No fires here in S Carolina, Rhonda. But regardless, never fear, I shall be safe.

Hal, Wombat, and maybe Rhona, and others may be interested too, the closest fire, which is currently the most serious is The Valley Fire, 50+ miles away, so it has made our sky ugly, and sometimes we can smell it, but we are in no danger. It has burned over 400 homes and many other structures, and More...

There has been an increasing level of speculation over the last few months buts the coup de gras grace was pretty swift - From the challenge being made public about 4 pm to the knowledge of the defeat at about 10 pm. All mortal combats should be so quick.

Hal is nowhere near the firing line. Keith is out of the firing line and if the winds stay the same he is safe. Goodnight to Aussie politics. I am off to zzzzzzzz
