I became confused when I heard these terms which reference the word 'service.' Internal Revenue 'Service' U.S. Postal 'Service' Telephone 'Service' T.V. 'Service' Civil 'Service' City & County/Parish Public 'Service' Customer More... 16/Jul/08 12:35 AM |  |

Gannie Mo, I just tried both 4x4 kids and nope, did not find either of them difficult today. Was it tthe hard one that gave you trouble? that one you did have to think about a bit differently 16/Jul/08 12:41 AM |  |

Happy birthday to Char for today, Vici for yesterday and Juliek and benny for before that. Hope you are having/had a wonderful day. 16/Jul/08 12:58 AM |  |
MO, guess I miss reaqd, thought the 4 was for 4x4, not the fourth one! yes, I thought that was more difficult to solve, it was not your imagination. 16/Jul/08 1:05 AM |  |
Hi all! Apologies for not posting the other day's answer earlier - 'prison - prisoner' and 'jail - jailer' being the correct answers. Been caught up in the summer holidays, Tour de France (an Aussie is in the maillot jaune, wow!) and Bastille Day. What a hard life! 16/Jul/08 1:11 AM |  |
to you, to you, dear Char! to you!May your day be wonderful with a and lots of ! 16/Jul/08 1:11 AM |  |
Here's an easy one for you today - "I can be quick and then I'm deadly, I am a rock, shell and bone medley. If I was made into a man, I'd make people dream, I gather in my millions by ocean, sea and stream." 16/Jul/08 1:13 AM |  |
Rayray - just saw your poem from yesterday. Well done! I'm glad I'm no longer a shopaholic. Living in a small coastal community does wonders for ones finances. We have to go all the way to Jacksonville (FL) or Savannah (GA) for major shopping, so we only do it about 4 or 5 times a year. Of More... 16/Jul/08 1:13 AM |  |
 H A P P Y B I R T H D A Y Char! (and Vici, belatedly)! 16/Jul/08 1:17 AM |  |
Fiona, I read somewhere (can't remember where) that you or GannieMo are from Bergerac county? Hubby is avidly watching the Tour de France and can name the different areas where they are. He'll squawk at me when they get to wherever I ask him. André loved your thought for today! Yes dearest friends are for life! 16/Jul/08 1:19 AM |  |
1:46 Now that's a sunflower! Very pretty. A lovely day here, so I may actually get out on the golf course later, my first time this year. I should practice hollering "fore"--I can't see this going well ... 16/Jul/08 1:22 AM |  |
Jane you are so right! Good thing I don't live there! I love eating great meals (i.e. ones that taste good that I didn't have to make!)Aileen, are the older generation a hoot?!?! I love to listen to the stories too. My sons, nieces, and nephews love to hear the stories I remember of them. Poor Stacey and Ashley the youngests have the least amount of funny stories about themselves. 16/Jul/08 1:23 AM |  |
