Good Maen all! First post since our SF hootenanny...I see the beautiful miss shosho above and imagine she has filled you all in on the fun.
I'll have pictures posted on my page soon.
It was so fun that the meet went international with GannieMo, Fiona, Susan, Anne and CP joining in via webcams...and in their tiaras and boas to make the occasion official!

Glasses were raised to our Sudoku family (mine being filled with water, but none the less sincere!)
Hope you all felt the love that was pulsing from our meet to all of you over our beautiful world!

Good Maen to everyone! I sure enjoyed looking at ShoSho's pictures last night. It looks like everyone had a great time.

We have a light dusting of snow on our lawn this morning and it is suppose to snow everyday this week. It seems early for this snow!

Good Monday morning!

Had dinner w/Hubby's family in Glendale last night--you could smell smoke all the way up from OC to LA! Hope everyone's safe that lives in those fire-ravaged areas!

Jim - shoes? Surely not.
I have to go get ready for class again - back later to search out info on the California meeting.

After Jim posted his fabulous pictures of the Endeavour shuttle, I wrote a poem and posted it as a comment on one of his photos. Shosho has suggested I should also post the poem here on Easy. If nothing else it may persuade more people to see Jim's most recent pictures.
So I shall now post it in honour of Jim, his picture, and, of course, the Endeavour enterprise itself!

THE NEW SHIP-MAST

We speak of conquering outer space:
a task the ancient Greeks would shun;
but a vapour trail now leaves its trace –

Rayray for a terrific poem!

My family and I were fortunate to visit Kennedy Space Center a few years ago on the day of a rocket launch. It was an awesome experience!

You are lucky being close to that.
Jim siezed his good fortune and the result is a very spectacular photograph indeed.

Ray, and all others, please note that I have started a new Off Topic Poetry Page in the Forum section. This page will allow people who write poems to post them not only on the Easy page or on their own page but on this new forum page, and that will (in the future) make the poems easier to find then trying to dig through the archives. Cheers!
